  Let's start with the positives. The location is nice. Lots of trees and it was quiet (except that the room was next to the stairs and at 5am people were leaving and you can hear the footsteps and door closing). Walking distance to restaurants. The staff was friendly. The outside of the building is nice. The fruit on the breakfast bar was good. The blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries were fresh. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Now the cons. The room smelled because the carpet was dirty and needs shampooing, or at least deodorizing and vacuuming. The shower is moldy and the fixtures are old and not in good shape. They need replacing. Grout is moldy and gross in the shower and around the toilet. Shower floor looked dirty. A dirty torn rag was left in the shower. Walls and door handles were dirty. I did have to purchase disinfecting wipes and air freshener. Wasn't sure about the cleanliness of the sheets, so I sprayed with Lysol for fabrics. Breakfast was basic, fake eggs and low quality meats. But it's good for those who need something to eat. I don't know how this place has an excellent rating. It's good, but not good enough for me. Not worth the price I paid.

  Booked through Expedia, hotel would not allow check in with Expedia price after midnight. Upsold room and charged more for the same room which was going to be used half the time it would have been had I been able to check in at 3pm. Current heavy construction going on around the hotel, roads blocked in some directions. Hotel itself was clean, modern decor and didn't smell like weed which is a pleasant surprise for Denton hotels. Air-conditioning in the room was the best I've ever had to date. Was able to get the temps down to a respectable meat locker for good sleep the few hours I was able to utilize the room. Edit to respond: The reservation was for the night before, I got in late and was fully prepared to pay the rate for the night before. Desk clerk said she was unable to locate the reservation and had to charge more for the same time period. Even with me providing proof with the reservation details on my phone.

  We stayed in a king bedroom - sofa, wet bar, small fridge, small microwave, nice large shower, soft towels, comfy bed, AC was nice and cold, safe in the closet. Ice maker by elevator. Free breakfast: scrambled eggs, make-your-own waffles, sausage (like sliced BBQ kind, not breakfast sausage), biscuits and gravy, fruit (apple, oranges, bananas). We had our small dog. Pet fee was 30 dollars which was a big reason we chose this place. We easily Ubered to our favorite restaurant. Nice job, BW! We’ll be back!

  My wife and I were able to get away for one night for our Anniversary, we decided to spend a little extra for a nicer hotel. We arrived shortly after 3 (check in time stated on their website, and lobby) our room was not ready, the receptionist said 15 minutes. I thought no problem we will wait in the lobby. An Hour and 20 minutes later we were able to get into our room. We were not the only ones inconvenienced that night, another gentleman had driven in from over 5 hours away waited with us. No, effort was made to ensure our stay was pleasant. At no point did any member of management offer an explanation. We definitely do not recommend this location as we were not the only people we saw having issues. Save your money and find a better run location. P.s. I did reach out to the manager and as of posting this have not heard back.

  Probably one of the nicest best westerns I have ever stayed at. We travelled from Houston to help our little freshman move in to her dorm at TWU. Campus is about a 10 min drive from the hotel. When we arrived the room was 78 degrees, not a big deal, but had to wait an hour or 2 for the room to cool down. They do have free breakfast but the options are slim. The morning we ate breakfast there were only waffles, sausage and hash browns to choose from. Of course I was craving eggs that day. All in all would totally stay here again
