  After stating several nights I highly recommend. The elevator has been down for a while, but the hotel staff are more than accommodating for the issue. Super nice and friendly as well as making sure you’re satisfied. In a town where many people are rude I’ve found each staff member is extremely outgoing. I don’t typically write reviews, but these folks deserve it. I’ve got several more weeks of being in town, they got my business.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was unacceptable and by far the worst experience we’ve had at this hotel. We have consistently chosen this location when visiting family in Del Rio because we’ve never had issues with any Holiday Inn. Now we’re second guessing ourselves. Hoping this was just a one off experience. We were notified only two hours before our 3:00 PM check-in that the elevator was out of service. We had just left San Antonio and on our way to Del Rio when we got the call. This is something that should have been communicated well in advance, as it created a significant hardship. Carrying luggage up three flights of stairs while holding a one-year-old is not only inconvenient but unreasonable. Additionally, the oven in the kitchen was not working, which directly impacted our stay. One of the reasons we choose this hotel is for the ability to prepare breakfast, something our oldest son looks forward to every visit. This amenity being unavailable without prior notice was frustrating and disappointing. While the room appeared generally clean, the flooring was clearly neglected. Within minutes of walking barefoot, my youngest son’s feet were completely black, indicating the floors had not been properly cleaned. Given these issues—the lack of timely communication, non-functioning amenities, and poor cleanliness—this experience was very disappointing to us.

  Nice people,But the elevator has been out of service for a week now and they still can’t tell you when someone is coming to fix it.

  The Staff were Super Nice other than that this is my experience. The elevator wasn't working all weekend, no hot water to shower with had to shower with ice cold water. Plus im posting pictures of our room view. Couple of dead birds and bird crap all over the place. We had to keep the curtains closed.
