- JCJoseph CunninghamJul 5, 20261.0Stayed here on a Friday night and the mattress was in shocking condition – Cleary decades, old, sagging so badly on each side that my partner and I had to stack pillows and the craters just to keep from rolling into them neither of us slept at all. The next day, I discovered that the hotel had charged me of $575 damage fee claiming the mattress was urinated on during our stay. We did not urinary on this mattress! It could’ve been urinated on over the decades it had been in use. For this hotel, or really any Holiday Inn express, take photos of your room condition at check-in and check the condition of everything – including the mattress – because this chain makes a practice of billing guests for pre-existing damages. Stay away!

The staff was friendly enough tho when my husband walked in the hotel there was a major smell that wasn’t pleasant. Then walking in the halls it was hot and humid. It was ok for one night but won’t be returning.
- SCSamantha CardozaJun 19, 20261.0The room smelled damp and musty the entire stay, like there is mold hidden somewhere in the walls or vents. I ended up feeling sick, and no guest should have to worry that the room they’re paying for is making them ill. The front desk staff acted like helping me was a burden!! Every interaction felt cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of paying attention to guests or addressing issues with the property, employees seemed much more interested in standing around gossiping with each other. The hotel also seriously needs to get its pest control situation under control. Guests should never have to worry about seeing rodents while staying in a hotel. Between the smell, concerns about mold, and the lack of professionalism from staff, this place felt neglected and poorly managed. I would not stay here again, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless major changes are made.
