  Room 102 smells very strongly of pet urine. I'm sure I'm not the first guest to complain about it and I have a hard time believing that housekeeping doesn't notice it when they clean the room so they obviously don't care.

  The walk in shower has water all over the floor! They had ran out towels and the power went out for about an hour!

  On arrival we had to wait for the receptionist. She was to busy looking at her phone. After getting checked in the majority of the place smelled like marijuana. They let us change floors but the next room had the refrigerator turned off. We his place is super ghetto. Literally the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I travel the majority of the year. Don’t come here

  Avoid at all costs. They allow homeless people coming into the hotel. One of them told us about damaged cars in that place. Same person was seen inside the hotel and walking around the nearest gas station wearing the same clothes/ He was one of them and suspicious of damaging my car. Let the hotel know but they don't solve anything. Careful and don't stay here

  Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express was a mixed experience. The room was good, although the TV was definitely outdated. The breakfast was delicious, but during a busy weekend it seemed like the hotel was short-staffed. They had a hard time keeping up with the demand for breakfast items and even keeping enough towels available. The shower had great water pressure, which was a plus, but unfortunately the drain was very slow. While I was taking my shower, the water continued to build up around my feet, leaving me standing in several inches of water. I almost slipped, which was concerning and could have resulted in a serious injury. This is definitely something that should be addressed for guest safety. The biggest issue for me was the bed—it was hard as a rock and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The most disappointing part, however, was the billing. At check-in, I was told there would be a $50 incidental hold, which I completely understood. However, after checking out, my card was charged again for the exact amount of my stay. When I questioned it, I was told the original charge was only a hold and would disappear within five days. I feel this should have been explained much more clearly at check-in because seeing another charge after checking out was concerning and confusing. There were definitely some positives, especially the delicious breakfast and great shower pressure, but the staffing issues, slow-draining shower, uncomfortable bed, and confusing billing experience took away from what could have been a much better stay.
