I stayed here for three nights and not once was i able to get a full cup of coffee in the morning, they put out a tiny carafe of luke warm coffee and NEVER refresh it. I was at breakfast by 7am each morning and was only able to get the last 1/3 to 1/2 cup left each morning.
It is the most pitiful breakfast i’ve had at any holiday inn express to date
Its a small thing, but the bathroom in my room did not have a fan. (In some good news, water pressure and temp were pleasantly surprising)
The neighborhood seemed pretty rough, not that the hotel can control that, but still it’s worth mentioning.
Express Market/Pantry offerings were poor and disappointing it felt like some big party had been in just before and picked out everything good and all that was left was what they had rejected. (This was not the case, but that is how it felt)
A/C in my room had some trouble keeping up with texas heat.
I remain a loyal holiday inn express customer, but I will go out of my way to stay at a different location in the future
(Note: I rated service 1 star, for clarity, every employee I interacted with during my stay was professional and helpful, the 1 star rating refers to the service of the hotel overall, which was poor)

Room was okay, but they advertise free breakfast, and do not make enough to serve all of their guests, even if you get there over an hour before the breakfast is supposed to be over. They also charged for parking, which they do not tell you at check-in, or at the time that they send you a link to do a self check-in. It’s disappointing when a business has a hidden fee of any kind. When I called to ask about the excess charge on my credit card, I was told that the information about the fee was on their website, which I did not book through. She seemed to think that I should have looked at the website, even if I wasn’t using it to book. Front desk person rude and kept interrupting me when I tried to initially explain what is going on, and it never got resolved.

Find somewhere else. Only thing good about this place is close proximity to downtown.
I love Holiday Inn Express hotels, but I did not have a pleasant stay at this location.
My concern is regarding the cleanliness of the hotel. Upon arrival, I checked the room for issues. There was hair on the bathroom floor; long, dark hair strands. The same hair was also on both beds. Upon receiving towels from downstairs, right before using one, I pulled two more long, dark strands of hair from the wash clothes. I noticed hair on the towel hook behind the bathroom door. This was actually quite gross. There was no wall mirror in my room. The microwave did not work. I called front desk and was told they would replace it by morning (Saturday), but they never did. I had to go downstairs if I wanted to reheat my dinner.

I was traveling with my elderly parents and sister, our room a/c was not functioning. We were given a new room without any issues.
I appreciate the friendly staff. Breakfast was good.

This hotel is due for a MAJOR upgrade! My main concern is the bathroom. The cost per night is way too high for there to be all this dirt caked on the walls and rust where you’re supposed to hang up towels. Its like staying at a motel! Except maybe SLIGHTLY cleaner. If no upgrades are made in the next like 5 years this place is likely gonna have rodents and roaches.
Also, the walls are INCREDIBLY thin. I shouldn’t have to hear the person next doors TV or conversation on the phone.
This “hotel” is worth $90 at the MOST. Very disappointing and lackluster.
