  This is the second time we've stayed at this Holiday Inn. I did not have hot water in the tub, however, there was hot water for a shower. The commode didn't work right; my husband had to fix it. Then someone tried to steal our truck. The security here is subpar. They didn't charge us for our room.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had such a great experience with the front desk staff at Holiday Inn, especially Plachette! All of the ladies at the front desk were amazing, welcoming, and helpful, but Plachette really stood out to me. She continuously checked in on me throughout my stay to make sure everything was okay and that I had everything I needed. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. I felt like I had an aunt looking out for me during my stay, which made a huge difference and made me feel very comfortable and taken care of. Customer service like that is rare, and Plachette deserves recognition for going above and beyond. Thank you to her and all of the wonderful ladies at the front desk!

  Close to UT Southwestern Williams Clements Hospital and easy access to it they also offer complimentary laundry access which is appreciated for those with an extended stay

  I stayed her many times before but the leadership changed and my experience was horrible. The manager, Peter, needs to provide leadership and coach and training staff. He wouldn't speak with me to hear my concerns. He has a Supervisor, Plachette, who is not professional either. I stayed for four days and cut off my last day's stay. 4 times they were going to fix my door and kept telling me to be in my room but couldn't fix the lock. Front desk staff called me on the room phone and it didn't work. I asked if they were going to fix it. The front desk person asked if I wanted them to and had me wait and no one came. I "checked in" for three back-to-back stays and never once was I acknowledged as a Platinum Elite member. Every other IHG property does that and thanks you. Usually they give you a water. I was told 3x my credit card didn' t go through and I needed to return to the front desk. The supervisor, Plachette, called me at 2pm and had me leave my luncheon because she said I needed to give another credit card and said it needed to be then. I left and went there and learned the front desk agent captured the card wrong. Never an apology and I even asked for one. Plachette told me to go to the front desk person (who was off shift) and ask her for an apology because Plachette said she didnt do it. I think you get the story. On a later time, Plachette was talking bad about a guest to employee loudly in the lobby and when a guest called her on it she said she can do that and the guest was the only one there. I switched my last night to Home2Suites. Perfect place. Clean, big rooms, staff great. Better breakfadt. I didnt want to give a 1 rating but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I had in 40 years.

  The ladies at the front desk 7/24/26 at around 9:30-10:30pm are the best ever. Made my stay very enjoyable and made me feel so welcome. They deserve all the love and I will be back to thank them for their generosity!!!! Came here because my boyfriend cheated on me and they took care of me and genuinely made me believe there is still good in the world. I felt so safe and cared for with them and they made my stay very easy. Shoutout to them!!!!!
