- RARona AbayaAug 31, 20264.0The front desk guy on 8/19 afternoon was very accommodating and assisted us to check in early by looking for an available room. It was an exhausting day after our son’s move-in day at TAMU and being able to rest earlier than check in time is a big thing. The hotel has their sweet signature scent as you enter which makes it really relaxing in addition to lighting. The same smell extends to the hallway and room. The bed was clean and comfy and so was the bathroom and toilet. We appreciate the free bottled water as well as other room amenities as the coffee. The internet was good and allowed me to work remotely. Location was walkable to TAMU South section close to dorm side. There are fastfoods and shopping around the area which really made everything convenient during this trip. I will definitely stay here again when we are visiting overnight.

I wasn’t notified of this hold prior to arrival and had to spend 4 hours waiting on someone to send me money to cover it in their lobby. Ridiculously strict. Checkout is also a very strict thing here.

The room cleaning wasn’t great, as it seemed like some things hadn’t been cleaned or disposables (coffee setup, etc.) replaced, but nothing was gross. I had to ask 3 or 4 days in a row before my room was cleaned, and the light in the bathroom went very dim but that wasn’t fixed despite asking a couple different times. If you’re more patient than picky it was a decent stay and a great location close to dining, TAMU, etc.
