  This hotel is rather nice with clean spacious rooms but they don't have coffee in the rooms because they are penny pinching and nickel and diming their customers. Me having to go down to the lobby at 05:00 to fetch a coffee is a deal breaker. Plenty hotels in the area. There's a Hilton just down the street. I'm staying there next time. It may be being done to comply with brand standards but rest assured it does reduce the service available to me.

  Place is a dump . Nobody works the front . My tv didn’t work all night and told the staff . They switched my battery but Tv still did not work . Then it turns on at 5am and I can’t turn it off . Go to the front and nobody is at the front desk ,just like the night before . So I can’t turn off this loud tv or even ask for staff to help me do it . Ruined my sleep staying here . Never coming back .

  I stayed at this hotel for one night for a basketball tournament and had an exceptionally great experience with check-in. The front desk clerk was very attentive understanding and let me know that my room selection was overbooked and asked if I’d be willing to switch to a king with a sofa bed. I had no issues making the switch, and she was very appreciative of my patience and flexibility. It was able to get me checked into the room early. Once I walked into the room, I noticed that the TV was not melted on the wall and went down to the front desk and let them know. She assured me that it would be fixed very soon, and it was. We arrived back to the hotel late in the evening hours and noticed a roach crawling on the bed which made for a very interesting night. We let the front desk know at check out and she let me know that she would leave a note with the general manager to reach back out to me. Several weeks have passed now and I have yet to hear back from the general manager. On my next college Station trip I stayed at the Hyatt House College Station and had no incident.

  Great place to stay! The best thing was the customer service. We were in town for a basketball showcase, we had reservations at another hotel that was AWFUL (Hampton Inn on Texas Avenue)!!! I immediately started looking for places to stay. This is a showcase with over 300 teams so it was tough finding rooms last minute. I call Holiday Inn Express and the welcomed us with open arms. Ms Diane said that she would be waiting for us. She greeted us and got us all settled in. I forgot to tell you that I was traveling with a team of 11 teenage girls. I will stay here the next time I’m in College Station. Thank you for taking care of us.
