  I had a bad experience from the start, I arrived to my check in 8/22/2026 and was told the room I had booked the prior day was unavailable. Victoria said I was marked as a no show because the “lady” who booked me accidentally made my reservation for that same day 8/21/2026 I told her no I specifically told her many times I needed the room for Saturday night and over the phone the lady kept saying she could not hear very well for me to speak up and so I did. She then stated she spoke to her boss and said “lady” would get in trouble. I asked for another room similar but all were booked. I had to no choice but to get a different room and payed again. And was told I will get a refund. Still have not received my refund. The next day Saturday I spoke to another lady named April she was very kind and sweet she actually helped me ! She said she didn’t know of my situation and I found out Victoria was the one who had booked me and did the whole mess! She lied! She told me said lady would get in trouble when it was her all along. And she apparently told her boss the one who made the mistake was me and not her! This is not my first time booking a hotel room I know my dates speak clearly and can hear well! Wish I can give more stars but that experience alone ruined our stay.

  Front desk customer service is by far the worst. Lady is rude she ask like if I was bothering here from checking in. I will never stay at this place

  3 day, 2 night fishing trip. Worked out great, evening and morning fishing. Clean rooms, plenty of towels to wash off all that catch slime.

  Was going on a fishing trip in Freeport TX so we decided to stay here and it was a good choice.

  Most of the experiences we had at this venue were positive. On July 22nd, we brought our youth group for a conference at a nearby church. The staff members were incredibly helpful and accommodating up until the evening July 25th. The staff member on duty from 3-11 was kind enough to allow us access to the meeting room to have our small group Bible study. At 11:30, the next representative on staff came in and told us we needed to leave. We were very understanding and began picking up our items and praying out. The representative opened the door and began rudely asking us to leave and carrying a sarcastic tone. She said she needed to prep the room for another reservation. We moved our discussions to rooms, which were spread against various floors, and were locked out of one of our rooms. An adult went to the counter and asked if the representative could reactivate the key. The representative told her that on the day you check out all keys deactivate at midnight. We accepted the information and were forced to leave our doors ajar overnight since we had adults that needed to leave to go back to our church and the other leaders had to transfer rooms to make sure all kids were safe and accounted for. I was extremely upset to find out the following morning that other room keys had not been deactivated, it was clear that the representative did not want to do her job. This posed a major safety concern for our students and I would like the owner to contact me regarding this incident.
