After spending days on the road as truck drivers, we decided to book a room at Holiday Inn to shower, unwind, and get some needed rest. Unfortunately, the room had an overwhelming odor that smelled strongly of pet urine. It was so unpleasant that I found myself gagging at times. We paid $295.26 upfront for one night, including the room rate, pet fee, and security deposit. I have no problem paying additional fees to travel with my dog, who is house trained, but I do expect a clean and comfortable room in return. On a positive note, I really appreciated the ample outdoor space available to walk my dog. That’s a huge plus when traveling with pets, especially a larger dog. The location itself was convenient for that reason. I also want to recognize the kind front desk employee who helped us when we reported the odor. She was understanding and brought deodorizing spray directly to our room. I appreciated her willingness to assist and her courteous attitude, even though the spray did not fully resolve the problem. However, being pet-friendly shouldn’t mean compromising cleanliness. We were looking forward to getting out of the truck, refreshing ourselves, and enjoying a peaceful night’s rest. Instead, the odor made it difficult to relax. We did report the issue to the front desk during our stay, and the employee was helpful, but the condition of the room remained disappointing. I hope housekeeping and management pay closer attention to these issues before assigning rooms to guests. Overall, I appreciated the pet-friendly outdoor space and the kindness of the front desk employee, but the condition of the room was disappointing.

Just the fact there's no hot water for showers will keep me from coming back. The fact there's bed bugs or carpet beetles in the beds, the tile in the bathroom is broken and not repaired correctly so I cut my foot on broken ceramic tile. We have 5 rooms here and all of them are swamp moldy cause the vents in the bathroom is insufficient or broken. The continental breakfast is either great or terrible on alternating days, sometimes there's not even coffee let alone e edible food. One of the rooms on the second floor is infested with ants also.

The air conditioning in the room was not good, it was 80° pretty much the afternoon and at night. The door across from the swimming pool door, was always unlocked. But my wife and I both had trouble with our keys to open the swimming pool door. Having said that, the staff was very nice and so were the occupants in the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely come again, you just maybe need to clean the rooms better and maybe a carpet cleaning once in awhile would be good. Also, the TV was unplugged and so was the computer outlets. Might want to check that when a new customer comes in. Thank you so much though! We will definitely come again. And we love the pool and the hot tub.
