  BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS HOTEL I paid for my stay through Expedia and clearly indicated that I would be traveling with my service dog. When I arrived, the woman who assisted me, Kassandra, tried to charge me additional money without giving me a clear reason. I left the hotel and went out to the lake. While I was there, I received more than 5 alerts from my bank showing attempts to charge my card. I had not authorized those charges, and the hotel never called me, notified me, or explained that they were going to charge anything additional. My bank immediately alerted me to the attempted transactions, which I did not authorize. I’m sharing my experience so other guests can be careful and closely monitor their bank accounts and card activity if they stay here. The employee who assisted me was named Kassandra.

  Excellent service by staff and they recognized right away that I was an IHG member. I e been staying all summer and it’s just like being home. Highly recommend staying here!

  I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my stay at this Cedar Park location in February 2026. While I have held this brand in high regard, this recent experience fell far below your usual standards. Despite booking two months in advance for a four-night stay with a two-beds room. Upon arrival, the room they reserved was a single bed room, so they reassigned. Then my bad luck began, I found the room to be extremely greasy, specifically under the hood and on the wall lamps. Most concerningly, I discovered a cockroach on the bed. Next day, I requested a room change, I was told the hotel was at full capacity and no move could be made for one or two days. When I pressed the issue, the manager’s response was that we were free to move out. This dismissive attitude toward guests amid a long stay was deeply upsetting. Furthermore, I noticed the gym space was very dusty, to the point where I had to wipe down the water fountain and surfaces myself. Finally, while the manager and general manager emailed stating that IHG member points would be credited to my account as an apology, those points have still not appeared. While I appreciated the late checkout, the sanitary issues, the lack of follow-through on the points, and the unprofessional staff response made this a very poor experience.
