- MMMarquitaSep 25, 20261.0They are bad at conducted business especially when a room has been cancellation due to illness. They have not followed up with my request or with the booking site.

I canceled on the day cancelations were due but I missed the deadline by a few hours because I was dealing with health issues in the emergency room. General manager refused to refund $330. I was the Emergency Room three times the week before the reservation so I had other things on my mind. Finally remembered to cancel this reservation and was told it was too late. I asked for an exception and was denied three different times. I appealed to IHG and they said the GM was the only person who could make an exception. The hotel was still sold out for when the dates I cancelled so it’s not like they missed out on any revenue. Read the fine print and know the GM has no empathy or heart for extenuating circumstances. I was planning on making this my new home base for Aggie Football weekends but I will definitely be passing on this hotel forever. Adding to this review since the hotel added a comment to call them. I've called them twice now and they said the response on Google reviews was simply an automated post to make it look like they actually care. They have no intention of taking any action to address the situation. I see this as further proof that they don't care about the customer experience at all. I recommend staying somewhere else, this place isn't worth the price or bad experience.

The gals at the front desk were quite nice so I can't blame them. We paid for 2 nights and left after 1 night. Ended up at the Best Western behind Walk-Ons and Gringos further south (remarkably better hotel). Also had vagrants hanging around and a cop car by the entrance for whatever reason. Don't stay here please.
