  Let’s start off with how rude the front desk clerk was. God forbid you do your job . I came in to check in at 3:45 and this guy has an attitude the entire time. Then when I get to the room which was supposed to be non smoking reeked of stale smoke. Told the front desk about it, what was done? Nothing!!!! Then on my second night there , apparently there was a heard of elephants jumping up and down at 00:00 and the front desk did nothing to resolve the issue. Now Garth road is a nightmare and a pain in the butt to navigate. How this hotel has a decent rating is beyond me. No service, no cleanliness and workers who refuse to do their job , yet expect a paycheck. Don’t stay here if you expect a clean place to rest your head. In addendum: I keep getting emails from Justin Richard, when I called to speak to him , I wasn’t told to hold on and sat on the phone for 30 minutes. I have a job and sitting on the phone not speaking to someone isn’t one of them. Want my honest opinion. FIRE EVERYONE, then hire fire dedicated employees who know how to be professional.

  Work.truck broke down in Baytown and I needed a place to crash so I logged onto my IHG rewards account and found my daughter Mila's and I favorite hotel, Holiday Inn @Baytown TX. Like most Holiday Inns, it was perfect. The complimentary breakfast gets you going for sure. Everything about this place was on point. Thanks guys for a good night's rest and food.

  This hotel is horrible. Management needs to be replaced. No greetings when entering, just stares. Charged my card for a full stay even though it was supposed to be a $25 hold. Said that they processed the refund but never did. Manager was in the back office and did nothing to rectify the situation. No apology or anything. Still waiting on the refund to come back to my card. Pool is green, laundry area doesn’t work, just overall bad management. The best thing about the hotel is it’s near a lot of things but there are many other hotels that you can stay at in the area. If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. Pick a hotel elsewhere!!

  Pool was green, pretty gross. Our room didn’t feel very clean, and the carpet was dirty. The location was pretty good though and complementary breakfast was good.

  After a long day of driving and my daughter’s dance competition I arrived to the hotel just to be informed that manager overbooked the hotel. They did not apologize or even try to find a solution mind you reservation was never cancelled or even received a phone call to be inform of this issue. I had to literally arrive to the hotel just to find out I did not have a place to sleep. Very unprofessional !!! We paid the regular price with no competition discount. We come to Baytown every year for competitions and never had this problem with other hotels around the area.
