We are on vacation in Texas, and we weren’t looking for anything fancy. We just wanted a place to eat, sleep, and relax, but little did we know how much this hotel would negatively impact our trip. In my opinion, it is not worth staying here, and I strongly recommend that you don’t. To start, the front desk employee told us our kitchen suite had an oven. We were only asking to confirm because we assumed a full kitchen would include one. She said yes, so we went and bought frozen, very good looking uncooked pizzas. When we got back to our room, there was no oven. That’s was only the beginning. The management at this hotel seems completely absent. Is the manager just relaxing in Hawaii hoping nobody notices how poorly this hotel is being managed? That’s honestly how it feels. This place is terribly managed and maintained. The hotel’s website also says nothing about parking costing $7 a night. Come on man. We noticed ripped chairs, dirty tables, only one elevator working and smelled weird while the other one was broken and empty hand sanitizer stations. It honestly felt like management was cutting corners everywhere. Breakfast was also disappointing. The yogurt tasted spoiled and during breakfast one of the main drinking machine was out of service and the tables were sticky and dirty, making the whole dining area feel unclean. Plus some of the seats were at a height compared to the table that felt weird sitting at. The evening social hour was also pretty weak. The food, including the fries and other things, was served cold and honestly just wasn’t very good. I know this review may sound like I’m just going on and on, but every one of these problems genuinely affected our experience. If management can’t even keep the hand sanitizer stations or wipe dispensers filled, it makes you wonder what else they aren’t maintaining behind the scenes. I want to make one thing very clear. I am not criticizing the employees. Most of the staff we interacted with were kind of friendly and sort of helpful. This review is directed at the management. Many of these decisions can be made if managers were here you know noticing the extremely ripped chairs in the breakfast area, the funny smelling elevator, or even the empty hand sanitizer stations. That responsibility falls on management if they exist. The pool also looked very uninviting. The fitness room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in years, so I chose not to work out. Even the station with wipes to clean the equipment was empty like what was I expecting. I could honestly keep going, but I think the point is clear. I am begging anyone considering this hotel to stay somewhere else until these problems are actually fixed and addressed. This hotel has ruined the staybridge suite brand as a whole through my eyes. Never will I stay here or at any Staybridge Suites ever, ever again.

I have stayed at this location twice in the last month and I gotta say it is what I base all of my recent work trip experiences on. Heather and her team will take exceptional care of you. They have an excellent gym, amenities, breakfast, and even have a social hour with complementary beer, wine and appetizers! A perfect place for weary road travelers or anyone staying in the area. Recommended!

Easy check in and out we stayed in a one bedroom apt. Like room it passed my clean test wich had not been done in years the bathroom was big and clean double headed shower with tub. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The carpet little outdated but carpet cleaner can fix that easily. Pet friendly lots of space to walk your dog. Pool was green needed to be shocked but due to all the rain lately looked to be the main cause because it wasnt filthy just light green color. Breakfast was good plenty of stuff to choose from. No the pantry shop was expensive.if you need toothpaste or something they have that at the counter for free staff was nice and efficient. Will be back only downfall was the construction on I35 nothing to do about that movie theater and restaurants in same parking lot shopping all around.
