  I stayed here during ACL and had a great time! Location is right on 35 to get straight to downtown, theres a Walmart near by for anything you need and gas. Hotel felt very safe and had a great free breakfast! I always have a great and safe stay at IHG hotels.

  While lying in the hospital, a relative of mine was supposed to come visit me along with two friends. Since we didn't have room to host them, I tried to book a hotel room for them at the Staybridge Suites on Parmer lane (Austin)I called, provided my credit card, and was informed that since they were under 18, I or someone on my behalf would need to come and check them in. My wife volunteered to drive there at 11:00 PM to check them in because they arrived very late. I verified with the representative who took my reservation that my wife could show up with her ID, and once she was there, they could use the credit card I had provided over the phone. She said yes and confirmed this multiple times after I asked repeatedly. My wife then drove all the way to the hotel at 11:30 PM. When she arrived, a guy named Zane in the front desk was insolent and rude, refused to help or listen, and kept 16-year-old kids and a woman with a sleeping baby waiting in the car. He asked me to call the front desk to speak with him personally, only to tell me he couldn't do anything. I told him, "Listen, I am in the hospital, I cannot get there, they don't have another credit card, and they are just kids. My wife drove there with only her ID, what do you expect me to do?" He really didn't care. He started yelling at me on the phone and treated me rudely. I told him he could check the recorded calls with the representative. To Confirm she said several times it’s ok to use the card on file, He asked for her name. I told him I didn't remember, so he replied, "That's a problem, Never in my life have I encountered such disrespectful treatment. No matter what you are doing or where you are in Austin, I sincerely recommend that you do not stay at this hotel. They treat people like garbage. It's ridiculous. I am lying in a hospital bed, finding myself begging them to let 16- and 17-year-old kids sleep for the night after I had already left my credit card on file and sent my wife in the middle of the night to check them in and confirmed everything in advance I simply cannot believe I am writing these words. There are rules, which I respect and then there is basic humanity; this guy should not be representing a hotel or working in customer service. At the very least check your recorded lines to see, or try to be human that’s also an idea.

  I recently stayed here with my son for 2 nights. We were in town from Ohio to see the Texas vs OSU game; as Texas fans! I booked last minute on that Thursday before the game. It is a great location if you are looking for somewhere to stay, either for a game or business. There are plenty of amenities at this location; Walmart right next door, HEB across the highway, along with plenty of restaurants. Dennys was excellent for a late-night treat; I don’t eat there often but this location was nice and accessible. This is the second Staybridge I have stayed at and I have been impressed by both locations; the other being in Lafayette, IN. They have a nice breakfast buffet that was included. The suites are roomy and have all of the dishware, etc., that you need. The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped me find a shortcut to downtown Austin, which was about 10-15 min to the parking garage we parked at for the game. Give this location a try if you are in need of a nice place to stay. Also, the mattress was awesome which you don’t find often at hotels. Thanks Staybridge staff for an awesome experience. 😎🤘

  I am staying now. There were hair on the bed just after bed making, this issue is second time. The first was when I entered the roon just after check in. The bath towels are also dusty.

  Great experience here for all the times that I have stayed. Front desk staff are always friendly and attentive. The room is great and clean, although some furniture is showing its age and wear. The dinner service during certain weekdays is always a plus, and the daily breakfast is always a win. The kitchen and serving staff during breakfast and dinner are always attentive, hardworking, and friendly for a chat. I overhear some people complain about the staff members during breakfast/dinner service for being not attentive, but I think the team are always there to refill food and drinks and clean up. These guests forget that breakfast is free and complimentary 😂. You probably won’t get better service anywhere else! Would recommend coming here for anyone visiting Austin!
