  I booked through Expedia and prepaid the hotel in full though when we put a card down which was mine they charged me the full amount again after check out then charged my card again today . I have not been able to reach anyone and I am down over $400+ This is an inconvenience, unprofessional and unnecessary! The customer service in person was great but trying to reach them was a hassle . I need to get my money back and I need this issue resolved and my money back to my bank account ! Why charge my card again after 3+ days on top of a prepaid hotel ?? Seems like a scam to me .

  I booked a 1 bedroom suite, am a platinum elite IHG member and have experienced the worst hotel stay ever. I first noticed that only 2 of the shower settings worked and had low water pressure. I notified the front desk and told them I was heading out for dinner and said it would be fine if engineering entered my room. I agreed. Upon return from a late dinner, I discovered that the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t working. I went down to the front desk to complain. It seemed to fall on deaf ears and I asked to speak to the manager. The male at the front desk told me he was the manager. He supposedly offered me an option to change rooms rather than try to correct the problem that they just created. I declined to change rooms. They offered no compensation for the major inconvenience. I called corporate the next day and a report was filed. Have still yet to hear from IHG. Didn’t even receive an email asking how my stay was.

  While I stayed at the Holiday Inn attached to this property, the hotels share a front desk and this review is regarding the bad service that we received at the front desk - SO IT APPLIES TO BOTH PROPERTIES. We had a booked a red eye flight to Austin and knew we would check in early in the morning on the day after we had booked our stay to start, but I used the “Text the front desk” option in IHG’s app to inform the hotel. Upon arrival not only did they let us know that they had gone ahead and cancelled our reservation, but the front desk attendant (Chantelle) was extremely unhelpful and uncommunicative. After almost an hour going back and forth on phone and chat, I was able to get a new reservation- but at no point in time did anyone explain what was going on, why that happened, or how they were updating our reservation. This was an extremely disappointing and stressful situation and so in no way can I recommend this property to anyone.

  I cannot believe they charge this much for this horrible room and horrific parking. This place is a total dump. I thought for the price I was staying somewhere nice. The condition of the rooms are unacceptable and super old and outdated. It feels like a motel. The AC blows from a hose directly onto your face. The TV is super outdated with only a few local channels. The sheets are awful, bathroom is weird. The parking is super expensive and weird as well. No valet, no bellhop. For almost $400 a night I am in total shock about every detail of this hotel.

  Finding the place was tough considering Google Maps took you about 2 blocks away to a random parking garage. Once we got there and we were checking in, I told the receptionist that I already prepaid for parking. He said he wasn't aware of that process and that I had to pay through a third party. When I asked for a copy of my bill because I was having trouble pulling it up on my phone in the lobby, he said he couldn't access that. Without more options, I just paid for it and tried to deal with it later. Later I was able to pull up my bill on my IHG account (like should have been possible from the receptionist desk) and show that I did prepay for parking. This caused about 15 minute call with customer service where they sent me a reference number and said it would take 24-48 hours. Parking was also confusing because all the signage was for Holiday Inn Express. Besides that, the pool side bar was only serving beer because their normal bartender wasn't there and the food was ok at best. No complaint about the room.
