Great hotel option when attending an event at Moody Center! It's only a 20 minute walk straight down the street. Stubbs BBQ is literally right across the street. Not the best hotel but has all you need (proximity to Moody Center, clean rooms with large bathrooms and a Lavazza coffee in room and a decent size fridge.

I will never stay here again. The most confusing hotel i've ever been in. They have put 2 hotels together when you have to park in the parking garage, you have to take an elevator to the main floor then you have to go down the hall and take an elevator to the main floor , then you have to take another elevator to the rooms. What a mess, and don't forget anything...... I felt like I was going over the river and through the woods each time we had to go to the room. Then , of course , they put us on the side of the hotel that had a band thumping from eight p m to eleven p m we couldn't even hear the t v , what did they do they gave.... us earplugs! We were with 2 other couples. They were put where it was quiet. Really disappointed in holiday inn and indigo.

Our stay at the Indigo Hotel Austin was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The biggest issue was the noise — the clubs directly outside the hotel were incredibly loud all night long, making it nearly impossible to sleep. On top of that, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The bathroom floor was lifted, and water was actually coming up from underneath the floor, which was both unpleasant and concerning. The refrigerator in the room also did not work. After reporting these issues, we were moved to another room, but unfortunately the second room had many of the same problems. There was still no hot water in the shower, the water pressure was terrible, the refrigerator still didn’t work, and we could still clearly hear the noise from the clubs outside. For the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. Between the poor room conditions, lack of basic amenities, and constant noise, this was not a comfortable or enjoyable stay.

Booked our Austin trip super excited to stay here, however, when we arrived I was charged over $800 for 2 nights, sure totally fine. When we got to the room it was unacceptable. You cannot charge people that much money for rooms you don’t want to keep up with!! Headed to the front desk immediately to let them know I wanted a discount, a room worth $800, or to find another place to stay. After offering 35% off my stay, I counter offered 50% and he said no problem at all, I’ll put it in the notes for your checkout. Go to check out this morning and nothing was noted - go figure. After speaking to the woman up front, she said she would only discount my first night because I “chose to stay” LOL The man who was at the desk when I checked in refused to acknowledge that I was assured the discount day 1, and that he didn’t know who I spoke to, even though I saw them working together last night. I can’t imagine that they have that many employees running the desk. I was lied to, gas lit, and I’m EXTREMELY disappointed about the entire experience.

I was unpleasantly surprised to get to my room and notice that it appeared to be the exact same room layout as the holiday inn express rooms. From what I could tell the only difference was the wallpaper and slightly nicer furniture. Does not seem like a good business practice to slap up wallpaper and charge higher rates. I would not have spent the extra money booking indigo vs the holiday inn had I known this. Staff was very kind and helpful nonetheless.
