  I stay at hotels pretty frequently and feel like this place is very hard to beat in terms of value for money. The rooms were clean with soft, comfortable beds, nice shower. You get a full breakfast included that was very good--sausage, biscuits, gravy, bagels with butter and cream cheese, Greek yogurt, chocolate milk. Then they have a 24/7 coffee maker available that grinds the beans fresh for every cup which I like so much, it's the reason I always try to find a holiday inn express. I haven't been to another hotel that offers this. Considering we went out to eat nearby at a restaurant inside a grocery store, and that cost almost as much as a night in this hotel which includes a meal, this place is a great deal. Staff was also very friendly and good, and I'm going through the trouble of writing this review partly because I really liked the guy in the afternoon and lady in the morning so well. We'd definitely stay again if we need a hotel in the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

  I am writing to formally report significant issues encountered during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin NW - Lakeline. 10911 Pecan Park Blvd, Austin TX, 78750 My initial room (108) was poorly maintained, and I experienced an unprofessional response from the staff when requesting basic amenities like hangers. On the morning of April 19, 2026, I discovered the bathroom floor was flooded due to what appeared to be a leak from the ceiling. While the General Manager, Marlene, was accommodating and moved me to room 312, this second room also proved unacceptable. The carpet and walls are heavily stained, and the door does not function properly. Additionally, the AC unit makes a series of loud clunks every few minutes. Most concerningly, I discovered black mold behind peeling wallpaper.

  Great hotel staff, rooms very nice. HOWEVER, only 4 stars because 1) breakfast not well served - slow replacement of depleted items -had to hunt down the attendant, then wait and wait for refills; had to remind him to replenish (he wasn't actively monitoring the dishes); 2) they dropped Happy Hour! Last time we were here, just before Xmas, they had HH.
