  Our stay was disappointing due to several maintenance and communication issues. After we had already checked into our third-floor room, the hotel’s only elevator went out of service. Carrying luggage and a toddler up and down multiple flights of stairs was extremely inconvenient. What made it worse was the lack of communication. We received little information about the outage, whether repairs were underway, or when service might be restored. We also discovered that the bathtub drain plug didn’t work, which made bathing our toddler unnecessarily difficult. The TV in the common area had severe screen burn-in, making it unpleasant to watch. The bright spot was Mike at the front desk, who was consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, his excellent customer service could not make up for the other issues.

  I noticed the tub could have been cleaner, just saying. It's never an issue because I clean my own room, but there was a lot of hair left behind.

  This hotel was excellent in every way. It was clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast, great staff, well maintained, in great location, and an excellent price. Highly recommended!!

  Got in late checked in tried to use the elevator that had a note saying push the second floor button hard. It didn’t work. Only one person at the desk was no help finally another guest said hold it down till it beeps. It worked got up to my room put on my PJ put my feet up and discovered the tv controller didn’t work. Called the front desk and asked to have someone come up to fix it. Was told there was only one person in this hotel so I had to bring it down myself. Got redressed went back to the front desk got new batteries only to find the controller still didn’t work so again I went down to the front desk to trade out controllers. Finally it worked. I had had a rough night and was tired. I was not happy to figure this all out myself. I went into the bathroom and only one light worked which was a big problem the next morning trying to put on my makeup. I didn’t bother calling the front desk because they were never helpful and I didn’t want to have to go get a light myself. I took a bath it was slippery. Then I read a email saying the front desk should have given me a rubber mat when I checked in. I didn’t understand why this mat wasn’t already in the room. Then I read further and find out if I need new towels I would have to take all my wet towels down to the front desk in a linen bag first and trade them for new ones. What are you crazy! I’m not doing that! The hotel said not to take bath towels to the pool so I’m thinking they had pool towels at the pool. Nope no towels and no one to stock them. So we went through the hotel and back to our room dripping wet. I don’t know but there was no helpful staff doing anything to make my visit good. I’m so glad I didn’t stay but one night because I will never stay there again and this includes all the families that come to our reunion each year. This hotel runs like bad cheep motel. It will be removed from area hotels to stay in in Austin on our reunion email from now on.

  Another great stay at this location. Mike was courteous, efficient, and professional. At check-in even with a number of guests arriving at the same time, he maintained his friendly demeanor. The staff on top their tasks, and services were just when and what we needed. Thanks.
