  Overall a 3 star hotel experience. If you’re looking for a cheap stay in Austin with complimentary breakfast and free parking, this is a decent pick for you. The rooms are small and can’t walk around too easily, but there’s a lot of clothes storage. The hotel itself seems like it could use A LOT of updates. There is zero mistake you’re in a cheaper hotel. Only one elevator worked our entire stay and judging by other reviews it doesn’t seem that’s an urgent problem. Additionally, their pool gate has open access to the public because the door doesn’t close properly. Lots of homeless people roam the area and sleep around the property, so be careful if you’re alone! The breakfast was decent but needs someone to clean up after guests every so often. Instead you see their staff also enjoying breakfast?

  Amazing rooms, awesome a/c unit and the hospitality was fantastic. Candace helped me out with any and everything and she was super friendly. Candace a G!

  Great place to sleep for the night. Beds were comfy. Front desk clerk was extremely nice. I will definitely stay here again. Only thing that would make it better is no construction on the road!....but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

  This place is pretty run down!! This is the third Holiday in the Texas area that I've had to complain about, and I'm pretty easy going! It's a shame that this company doesn't invest their money into upgrading their building, rooms or overall faciality. The worst part is, it's the same complaint. Examples of my recent stay 6/9/2026. The TV remote didn't work, The bathtub faucet wouldn't stay fully locked to shower, so water was coming from the upper shower head and lower faucet. The light around the mirror kept flickering, the elevator was dirty and just really old looking, it also doesn't make a sound sometimes when the door opens. The AC doesn't work in the workout room, which was miserable to walk into. I wanted to do cardio to start my day, the treadmill was being used by a guest, so I said no biggie, I'll just hop on the elliptical. Guess what, that doesn't work at all, and was stuck in the raised position, like it died in the middle of someone's workout. So the only way to get my cardio workout in was walk around the building over and over, until I got my 30 minutes in. Now it's time to eat.. Guess what, there was a sign posted at 6 "sorry hot breakfast will be late". No I'm stressed I won't have breakfast in time before I have to head to work. Usually there are hard boiled eggs at these hotels,... But not today!! And why does the coffee machine make the coffee so schooling hot?? I shouldn't have to ask for ice to cool my coffee down. The oatmeal looked like soup, and had way too much water, and there was no scooping spoons in the raisins and nuts to put in your oatmeal. I saw a kid using his dirty sticky fingers to dig some out. Talk about a poorly kept, poorly managed, and unsanitary place. NONE of this is an exaggeration. The only thing I would ask for, is the for this hotel to refund my money, nothing more. Talk about starting off your morning crappy, and just praying your day gets better!

  My experience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin North Central did not meet expectations. The room condition, service, and overall experience left a lot of room for improvement. I encountered several issues during my stay that affected my comfort and satisfaction. I hope management addresses these concerns to improve the guest experience moving forward.”
