  Great location next to Town Lake. Town Lake has miles of walking trails, bike rentals, scooter rentals, and water equipment rentals. A shuttle picked us up at the airport and will return us to the airport tomorrow. Great restaurants within walking distance.

  We had a fantastic stay here! George checked us in and made us feel very welcome! The location is great and the price is way better than other hotels in the area! The included parking was also great! Rooms were clean and quiet. Very comfortable! Thank you for a great stay in Austin!

  Very nice hotel for the money. Reception was friendly and efficient. Lobby was clean and modern. Parking was FREE, and convenient. A rarity in a mid to large city! No phony resort fee as well. Room was quiet, clean and bed was comfortable. Some furniture was a little beat up, but for the good value worth it. Shower was wonderful.

  2nd time staying here and good hotel. Complaint is 1 elevator wasn't working for the main hotel rooms and there are no ice machines except on 8th floor. Parking outside is free and a few handicap spaces always had cars without handicap plate or plaque displayed for 2 days we were here. Parking garage is free. The are food trucks outside the hotel on other side of parking lot. Great view of the lake. Big room with great views of lady bird lake. There is a walking, bike, run path which is nice and shaded.

  I stayed at Holiday Inn Town Lake for two week nights. The staff at this hotel are respectful, courteous, and eager to help with any request. The rooms are clean and well-furnished. The bathrooms are clean with updated fixtures. The towels supplied in the room were enough to last two days without asking for more. The lobby is stocked with a lot of drinks, snacks, and microwavable meals for sale. The business center is not private (open desk in the lobby with computer and printer) but was functional. Overall, this hotel was a great choice and I would certainly stay here again. The only negative remark I can make is that the parking garage is remarkably short (6ft 9in clearance) with fire sprinkler plumbing on the ceiling. If you drive a tall vehicle, you'll probably be parking with a lot of anxiety. This hotel is two towers, and the lower half of one building is occupied by the garage, which is served by a separate elevator. This made for a lot of extra elevator use, as you must access the parking garage floors only from the dedicated elevator. The area is nice with the amount of noise expected being close to downtown, but not unbearable. There is pedestrian access to Lady Bird Lake and downtown Austin. The access to I35 is simple due to the hotel entrance being located at I35 Frontage Rd near an access ramp. Though no reflection on the hotel itself, during my stay Google Maps continuously tried to route me through a closed section of N I35 Frontage Rd at the intersection of Riverside Dr. If you are arriving from the south, make sure to stay on the interstate and take the Holly St exit to access. Do not get on the Frontage Road before crossing the Lake if coming from the south. Riverside Dr no longer has access to I35N. In short this hotel was perfect for my needs and the staff made it very pleasant.
