Its accessibility to F&B spots, gig venues, and a few tourist attractions nearby make it ideal if you're in town for a short trip. The Lady bird lake and trails at back at to the charm too. The staff were friendly, the rooms were of a high standard and the whole experience was pleasant.

The first time I stayed here they had me in a room on with loud construction noise, the water went out in my room, and the lobby bathroom was out of order, among other things. When one books a 5 star hotel, one expects to be able to sleep and go to the bathroom. A few weeks ago my colleague and I tried to book rooms for an upcoming conference being held on location. His booking went through, but I was told mine did not because the block was now full. When I called customer service, they reached out to sales team, and said their best offer was a room at twice the cost. Very disappointing experience.
