- MFMike FullerMay 15, 20261.0Stayed at Candlewood Suites Austin Airport after a 12-hour travel day and checked in around 1:40 a.m. Less than an hour later, the AC unit started making an unbelievably loud noise and made the room unusable for sleep. When I called the front desk at 2:30 a.m. requesting a different room, I was told I would have to wait about an hour because they were running a “night audit.” So instead of fixing the problem, I was forced to spend the night in a hot room with no AC. Management admitted the hotel failed to properly handle the situation but still refused to issue a refund. Multiple attempts to resolve with the corporate office got me the same results. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and a terrible way to treat paying guests.
