  Spent the night in Austin to visit my daughter and catch a movie. This hotel was just a few blocks from her apartment and a couple of miles from Downtown Austin and the theater we were going to. Easy on/off from I-35 and Koenig Lane made the location ideal. It offers free parking, a huge plus in Austin. Checked in shortly after 3pm. Desk staff was friendly and efficient. I had been burned lately with my choices of hotel so my expectations were low. Room was on the third floor. It was very clean and already cool. There was a microwave and a nice king size bed. The bed was clean and quite comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. There was some discolored grout but the tub, toilet and sink were nice and clean and the towels and wash cloths well stocked. There was a chair and as well as a small desk with chair. A nice TV with lots of channels. I did not use the pool so can't comment. The lobby also had a business center that looked well supplied. People were working there as I passed. There was a nice sitting area off the lobby as well as complimentary coffee machine. Several TV sets allowed for sitting back, drinking coffee and watching the World Cup in a spacious well lit area. There was also a complimentary cocktail hour but I did not participate in that. Next morning I got up and headed down for breakfast. Nice buffet with eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, tortillas (it is Texas) and various fruits, pastries and cereals. There was yogurt too for those lite eaters. Of course there was the obligatory Texas shaped waffle iron. All food was plentiful and hot and presented attractively. Parking was ample and I did not worry about security because of the layout of the property. Check out was smooth and desk personell were friendly and efficient. The price was a midweek business man's rate and extremely reasonable for Austin. Numerous restaurants and shopping near by. I really can't recommend it enough and will stay again when visiting.

  Awesome service from the young Hispanic gentleman up front. I didn’t catch his name but he is the heartbeat of the hotel!

  Very happy with my stay at this hotel, plus breakfast was included...really recommend this hotel!

  If you are construction worker, do not stay at this hotel. 2 of our employees work trucks had been broken into and cleaned out in the parking lot. All of their tools are gone. Do not recommend this place.
