  Melondy & Sheree WONDERFUL.. every other front desk recipient.. waste of time and space . The last time I stayed here there was piss on the toilet when entering the room. They offered me 2,000 points . I tried staying here recently and they blocked me from the property.. coming to find out it was because I DISPUTED MY DEPOSIT THAT THEY NEVER FREAKING RETURNED .. so because I rightfully got my deposit back, I’m blocked? ALSO their prices are stupid , go to Priceline you can get a cheaper room literally every night !

  Front desk extremly rude. I left my apple pencil there, housekeeper is 1. Not doing a through job of cleaning or 2. Took the apple pencil which retails at ~$100. Called to see if it was turned in and the guy who answered was extremely rude.

  Our stay at Avid was the best our room was clean and comfy, Ms. Sheree welcomed us with her bright and sweet energy and really set the tone for our stay. We really appreciated her:)

  This is a perfectly average, no-frills hotel. I choose this for my business trips because I just need a cheap, clean, quiet place to sleep, and this hotel has not caused me any issues yet. Rooms are always clean and ready for me at check in, they are on the smaller side and it’s basically just a bed and bathroom, no coffee maker, no microwave, no storage closet, etc. A/C works just fine which is great because I like my room cold. Hotel is typically quiet but can get noisy around breakfast time. Breakfast is pretty mid and not really worth waking up early for so I usually just skip it. They don’t charge for parking, unlike the TownPlace Suites next door, which I appreciate as well. I do wish they would provide a microwave at least so I can reheat the food I keep in the mini fridge. And the walls are on the thinner side so if your next door neighbor is noisy, you can definitely hear them. Overall though this is a fine budget hotel for when you just want to rest and do nothing else.

  Nothing against the staff who did their best to help but Unfortunately as a new mom needing a place to rest between NICU visits this is not the place. I have to be at the hospital every 3 hours and the room air is motion censored which means my room will be hot the whole time I’m actually here. Let alone the rooms do not have a microwave so I can’t sanitize pump parts or even save on food, this is not a good place for someone in a situation like mine.
