Very bad area that's first.. then i went in and checked in and paid.. went to the room it was a very bad mold smell then they try to find another room without a mold smell and still it was bad.. they would not refund me even though i did not stay for 5 minutes.. its a health hazard.. before you pay make sure to check the room first
This hotel is truly an Austin hidden gem! I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, with a unique mix of vintage retro decor and modern artwork. Also very clean. The atmosphere is colorful, fun, and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! They had waffles, bacon, and burritos, and so much more. I also loved that they have a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby, so you can enjoy fresh coffee anytime. There are also fun games for the kiddos, and the swimming pool is a great size. The pool area has such a fun, cheerful design with bright , happy colors. And most Importantly, the customer service was top-notch! Max checked me in and did an amazing job explaining everything about the hotel. He even gave me a map and showed me where the parking was, explained the breakfast hours, and told me about the sushi restaurant on-site. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Austin! One last perk it’s just a few minutes from Congress Street, which makes it really convenient for exploring. 🫶🏼💕

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — **5/5**
The **Aiden Austin City Hotel gets 5 stars from us easily!**
We looked everywhere for a hotel in Austin that **didn’t charge for parking**, especially after seeing so many places charging what felt like $80–$100 a day once all the fees were added in. At first, we honestly thought we might be giving up some comfort in exchange for free parking because there were a few homeless people around some of the major intersections nearby.
We were **100% wrong**.
In fact, we ended up picking the perfect place to stay for our **14-year anniversary**.
We had several things planned throughout Austin, and one of the biggest surprises was how convenient the location was. Pretty much everything we wanted to do was only about **10–15 minutes away**, so the hotel ended up being a great central location for exploring the city.
The staff was also extremely helpful. They even called to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch.
And yes — **the parking was FREE and close to the hotel!** That alone was a huge win for us.
We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looked clean and there were plenty of people outside enjoying themselves.
One thing I would recommend is **asking about the breakfast hours when you check in**. We ended up missing breakfast because the times can be different depending on whether it’s a weekday or weekend. This felt much more like a comfortable hotel for couples and people visiting Austin for fun rather than a typical business hotel, so just make sure you know the schedule ahead of time.
Our room was **clean and quiet**, the bed was sturdy and extremely comfortable, and having both a **refrigerator and microwave** in the room was really convenient.
We had absolutely no issues during our stay.
If you’re coming to Austin because you actually plan on getting out and enjoying the city, **I would stay here again every time**. It’s hard to beat the combination of the **low price, free parking, comfortable room, quiet area, helpful staff, and central location**.
For couples who want a comfortable place to stay while spending their money on experiences around Austin instead of paying an arm and a leg for a hotel and parking, this place is an **absolute gem**.
**Perfect spot for our anniversary trip. 5 stars from us!** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I booked this hotel for a night away from home. I was looking forward to a “treat” including a nice hot shower and nice bed. I booked on Priceline which advertised it as a 4 star hotel. When I arrived I learned it is a best western and everywhere else online lists this as a 3 star hotel. I made it to the room to take a shower. There are no robes- which I have found standard for a 4 star hotel. The shower pressure was a trickle. I could hardly get the shampoo out of my hair and the water was just warm. Later I found out that the toilet didn’t flush. It wasn’t just a 2 flush. I tried 4-5 times and it was not working. The bed was ok- thin blanket and very small thin pillows (like small throw pillows).
When I checked out and explained my issues they said they would have the manager contact me. It’s been a few weeks and of course I never heard back. When I followed the links on the surveys they emailed me it said that the links were expired.
We had a wonderful stay at the Aiden Austin Hotel! The entire property was beautiful, very clean, and had so many fun spots to take pictures right on-site. The pool was clean, refreshing, and a great place to cool off after exploring Austin.
Every staff member we encountered was courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay even better.
The location was another huge plus—it was centrally located and only a short drive to everything we wanted to do, making it incredibly convenient.
The only downside was the hotel breakfast, which was just okay. That said, it really wasn’t an issue because there are so many fantastic brunch spots within a five-minute drive.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Austin!
P.S. The foosball table and chess were great for the unwinding family time.
