  Checked in after midnight after a terrible experience with motel 6. The staff was super accommodating considering the hour. Room was really clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

  My leg has been amputated so I need an accessible room which I was given. Problem was the door did not lock. I was given a room that was not handicap accessible. I called the front desk and asked for a seat for the shower. Meet Patel the general manager said none was available and hung up on me. When I called back he said he would check and get back to me. Never heard from anyone. It was a difficult stay. Absolutely no customer service here and incredibly rude!

  We had a room booked for our honeymoon and it was booked in advance and already paid for. On the night of our honeymoon they refused to let us stay because we lived in town and canceled our reservation. It was after 11pm and all remaining hotels were booked up and we had family staying at our house. It completed ruined our night and I will tell everyone I know to never stay at this hotel! We were supposed to be refunded but have yet to receive that refund. My husband called the hotel to find out how much longer the refund would take. They placed him on hold for over 15 minutes and he gave up. I will be contacting the corporate number to see what can be done. This made what should have been one of the best nights of our lives and completely ruined it.

  We just got married today and chose to stay there tonight for honeymoon. Was prepaid and prebooked, but was refused a room cause we reside here in Amarillo. 9/21/2026 Tried to reach out like I was asked and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Looked at my account and was refunded my points that the room was booked by but the rest of the amount I was charged on my card has not been refunded. I am very disappointed cause this hotel was booked through my IHG membership.

  There are plenty of other nice looking hotels in the same block. We should have spent our money elsewhere. The entryway looks like it was recently updated and is very impressive. And then you see the rest of the property. One elevator is out of service. The fridge leaked in our room, which soaked the carpet. The bed was uncomfortable and seemed broken down. Bright parking lot lights shined in all night, with blinds that wouldn't close. I wish we had seen Ethan's review about the broken hot tub and the cold swimming pool before we booked, because the front desk person certainly wasn't going to tell us the truth. One tub had no water in it and the other one was just cold water with no working jets. The pool water left a sticky film on my skin. And one of the pool lights was just hanging in the water! When I told the front desk person that the pool and hot tub were the main reasons we booked, he tried to blame it on whoever checked us in for not telling us. (I wasn't present at check-in). He said he could offer a 50% refund. I went to get my boyfriend, since the room was on his card. As it turns out, HE was the same guy who checked us in. When we talked to him together, he changed his story and said only the day manager could authorize a refund. My boyfriend confronted him about not telling us about the pool/hot tub when he explicitly asked about it. The guy just said, "That's on me." Uh, yeah it sure is. He also didn't tell my boyfriend about the breakfast charge, even though he asked about it too. He at least comped our breakfast, thankfully, because the food was underwhelming. The manager was supposed to call my boyfriend the next day but never did. No surprise there. The one positive: The breakfast lady was nice.
