  Amber is an amazing front desk personnel. She provided me all the answers I needed for my many questions. I sincerely appreciate her patience and top tier customer service.

  Do not book your stay here if you expect to be able to shower at the end of your day. Our family of 4 got back to our room after a long day out only to find our room was left not only uncleaned, but ALL of our towels removed and not replaced. We called the front desk and were told to wait until 7am or 8am the following morning and they will hopefully have towels. After calling a second time they said they could find a single “pool towel”, which our family of two adults and two children could share to dry off after showering. Safe to say we weren’t able to shower. “Pool towel” is pictured below.

  I have called the front desk several times regarding this request but was even told that I need to reach out to the manager for assistance. We had made a reservation through a 3rd party website to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Allen located at 205 N Central Expy, Allen, TX 75013. We were under the impression that our support dog would be allowed especially with the third party website having your hotel listed as pet friendly. However, we were told that you only allow licensed service dogs and not support dogs; thus, we were denied the stay. Since we ended up staying at another pet friendly hotel and never checked in to your hotel. I would like a favor from the hotel if they would send us some type of proof showing that we never stayed at the hotel(3 nights) for that booking so that we can file a dispute with the third party site. BUT the manager NEVER response the email!!! This is the worse hotel service I met! I don't recomend this hotel!!!

  Me and my family tried to go swimming and the water was so dirty!! The bottom of the pool was dark brown and the dark brown was also around the top area of the pool. I was l shook and kinda disgusted. I still don't know what was in the pool.. There were also bugs in and outside the pool. If the pool wasn't clean they should have had a sign.!! The water was so dirty it looked like dirt. Disappointed that we couldn't get to enjoy ourselves.

  1/5 Stars — Extortion, Defamation, and Blackmail by Manager Gabby. I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express (205 North Central Expressway, Allen, TX) on a corporate CLC account after being on travel assignments for 2.5 months. My wife came to visit me from Saturday to Tuesday. She caused zero disruptions, but after declining housekeeping for one day, Front Desk Manager Gabby launched into disgusting, defamatory profiling.At 7:50 AM on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Gabby told me to my face: "there are worries because she is known to come to the property for money." This is a malicious lie against my wife. We live out of town. Gabby then blackmailed me, stating if I didn't get her off the property, she would evict me and leak/distribute internal hotel security video logs to CLC and my employer to try to get me fired. Gabby refused to even let my wife sit in the lobby to wait for her brother to pick her up. As a result, I had to lose half a work day and drive a 4-hour round trip to Weatherford to get her home safely so I wouldn't lose my job. Other staff members admitted Gabby is known for being disrespectful, but extortion and slander cross legal boundaries. Management tried to get me to let this subside, but I am taking this directly to IHG Corporate Compliance. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
