  I think these guys intentionally hold onto your deposit money. It doesn’t make any sense that I have been waiting for it to return for over a week now. Pretty clean place otherwise.

  The tv didn't work, half the light fixtures didn't have bulbs and there was no bath soap and little shampoo. I stayed in one star hotels that were better

  Stayed here for 2 nights to meet my daughter and her possible future inlaws. My expectations were high considering I paid $300 a night. Was nice when we walked in. Bar area and eating area seemed ok. Breakfast was good. But the one thing that really shot down this review was the room itself. Very heavy smell of mildew. Stains on the carpet, one bed corner looked like someone spilled something, curtains had stains that were from the ac. The shower actuator was broken so the shower came on when you turned in the water. The plumbing was loose anyway. This room was showing it's age. But that's no excuse for housekeeping not to thoroughly clean the rooms or report issues. It was so damp in this room I felt like I was in Galveston. The hideaway bed was dirty like it hadn't been cleaned or checked in a while. As a comparison, we had just came from the Hyatt Place downtown Denver where I had a room on the 21st floor with a mountain view. I roughly spent $60 less on that stay for 2 nights. And before that, we stayed in Red River NM for 3 nights in a condo next to the ski lift area and spent $600 which is what I paid for 2 nights here. Never have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and most likely will have reservations about staying at one. And maybe it's just this location. We would have requested another room but it was late and I had just driven from Denver.

  Exceptional Stay - Highly Recommend! A huge thank you to Cecily and Shawnee at the front desk! They were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was spotless and super comfortable, and the hotel bar offered amazing service. Highly recommend this Abilene location! I had an absolutely amazing experience at this Holiday Inn North location in Abilene! A massive shout-out goes directly to the incredible front desk team. From the exact moment I walked through the doors, they made me feel so welcome. They were professional, genuinely friendly, and went completely above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect.The service across the board was top-notch, including the amazing hotel bar! The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff provided phenomenal service.If you are visiting Abilene, this is the place to stay. Exceptional customer service starts right at the front desk here. I will definitely be back!
