  While hanging in the lobby on Saturday May 10th the front desk person wearing a mint green hoodie, jeans and a ball cap was using excessive profanity speaking to another worker. It was so disturbing to hear that at such a nice hotel. Do better avid!

  The service at this hotel was very disappointing. Several staff members did not appear professionally dressed or presentable, which gave a poor impression of the property. One front desk employee was wearing pants with multiple holes, and the overall appearance did not seem appropriate for a hotel setting. During breakfast, I also noticed an employee handling food and moving in and out of the kitchen without wearing gloves. He was dressed very casually in baggy jeans and a hoodie, which did not seem sanitary or professional for someone working around food. I will say there was one shorter woman (who appeared to be training or maybe was a manager as she just sort of followed around the other employee or stood back and watched), and she was dressed very professionally and tastefully. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff I encountered during my stay did not meet that same standard. Overall, the lack of professionalism and attention to appearance made the hotel feel poorly managed.

  First off I just want to state that the staff was wonderful and the facilities I’ve interacted with were clean. With that said, I will not be returning to this location. The first issue was the parking situation which to be fair. I’ve encountered with other hotels so it’s not the worst mark on my list here. The second issue was that the elevator was not working on a Saturday night when rebooking a hotel is nearly impracticable and was placed in a room on the third floor. The third issue which impact the overall quality of my stay was the fact that I could hear all this noise above and around me which I did not encounter at any other Avid hotel I’ve stayed in thus far. Ultimately, if you have to stay with the Avid brand, you’re better off staying at the one downtown close to the airport if you can tolerate or even enjoy the sound of commercial jets flying over.

  4/6/26 6pm. This place is moving further to the bottom of the totem pole. TATE seemed to be too busy to wait on your clientele as the line kept getting longer. We use this AVID alot for business as I book many of our guys. When he finally came to counter his bad attitude was seen by many. He was impatient as we were all bothering him checking in. I asked if you sold milk, he said no we can wait for it in the morning. Exact words! That honestly wasnt the point. Its ok tho we called FAIRFIELD and asked did they sell milk and they did! Except they dont sell it they give it to you! So, while having conversation with FAIRFIELD we talked about rates. Although their rates are slightly higher their customer service speaks volumes! Definitely worth it and will be booked for our monthly bookings. The girls checking out morning of 4/7 one had her Bluetooth in and on her phone, the other wearing cartoon attire. The one with the phine said it was her 4th day. Obvious being that comfortable in her 4th day speaks volumes on the management in this building. BTW the sink faucet that another one of your customers complained about is still not fixed. Good bye AVID.
