We stayed here on our road trip heading south and the experience was impeccable. As a hotel it's pretty standard in terms of rooms and amenities. It wasn't the best and wasn't the worst, it was exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel. However the customer service was exceptional. We got a good rate, they had coffee and snacks in the lobby, and were so accommodating to grab a chocolate milk from the breakfast buffet for my daughter at night so she wouldn't be left out from the adults all having coffee. Based on this, we chose to stay here again on our trip back up north even though we could have made it farther before stopping for the night. Unfortunately, this time the experience sucked. The vibes from the front desk were so off and nothing like the previous week (same guy - he looked super burnt out, or like he got in trouble that morning lol, or something very serious is going on in his personal life. He was perfectly polite but last week he was so upbeat and friendly). They had no snacks, they refused my daughter the milk saying they didn't have any, even though they had it at breakfast. I can only assume it's because the hotel was busier than the previous week and they didn't need our business as much as they did the week before. While nothing went horribly wrong, we returned because the staff had gone above and beyond. Next time we know we can stay at any other location on our route.

Was lied to by the General manager Randy that I booked a Junior suite when in fact they have no junior suites. They only have King Suites, which I booked and paid for on Hotel Engine. He claimed that hotel engine pictures are wrong but they are the EXACT same pictures of rooms thats on IHG app and Holiday Inn website. He didn't want me to have a King Suite for whatever reason even though I paid for one. This is not the way to treat paying guest. Now, Mr. Christian is the ONLY reason I gave service 2 stars, he has awesome customer service skills, very patient and understanding.

Currently the construction going on can make it a pain IF entering from the interstate...
That being said. The rooms are nice. The bed is soooo comfy... and breakfast has a little of everything to get your day started right...
The pool outside was the perfect tempature... and I like how they have balance equipment in the gym.
