As soon as I showed up they said there was a $15 parking fee which is very inappropriate thing to spring on someone especially considering the hotel is absolutely surrounded by places with free parking. When you pay a premium to stay at the IHG though they expect you to pay even more to park your car. Additionally the front desk lady said there was some other $20 fee I didn't even fully understand but I guess was mandatory for me to go to my room. So right off the bat they charge you $35 to enter your room. The staff member was very rude and seemed annoyed when I tried to question that second fee so I just payed it to not deal with them and get into my room as I was tired from a long trip. Also I asked if I could upgrade to a room with a front facing view and she bluntly said "No" with no explanation. The staff seemed to not want to be there.

Also charges guests for parking in their lot which is crazy. I don't feel like guests should have to pay to park in the lot. Location was great.
- CTConnie TaylorAug 19, 20265.0We have been coming to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for years and have been searching for the place that needs all of our needs like a comfortable bed clean room and a great bathroom even with the walk-in shower and this place has it. The one thing I would be very cautious of is booking with something like Expedia or a third party because they do not tell you that you do have to pay for parking everyday and you do have a 25.00 extra fee for incidentals. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating the people that do housekeeping are also very good at what they do. Will definitely be coming back.

Breakfast was delicious, and Michelle from the restaurant was especially kind and provided wonderful service. Overall, had a great stay .
