It is a very clean hotel and in a good location. I have two small complaints that I feel could be improved on. We stayed in room 429 and the beds were not the most comfortable they felt way too hard and my other complaint is that the ironing board legs did not lock into place easily. Still not a bad hotel by any means, but I feel those improvements could go a long way.

We have been staying at IHG brand hotels for years and were not impressed with this addition to their brand. We knew the room would be on the smaller side after reading other reviews, but since we didn’t plan on spending much time in the room we booked it.
We managed the size fine and appreciated the sink outside of the bathroom, not that it would have fit inside, but the height of the sink made it challenging for my 4’10” daughter to use it to wash her face and get ready for the day. Something to keep in mind if you have children.
The night desk worker was extremely pleasant both when we checked in and when we had to call down on our second night because, while our towels were replaced, although not in the correct amount, we were completely out of shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. She was all smiles and apologetic though it was definitely not her fault. It seems like checking soaps is something that should be done when a room is turned over, but it was definitely not the case. It was also odd to us that towels were replaced and the trash emptied, but the beds were not touched.
Breakfast was definitely not on par with other IHG hotels we have stayed at. It definitely lacked variety and the hot food items were cold on one occasion. The kids were definitely disappointed in the lack of a pancake machine or cinnamon rolls.
Parking was challenging if you came back later in the evening, especially in our truck. Many spots were unusable to us due to tight quarters. I’m not sure there is a good solution to this problem with the small footprint of the hotel, but something to keep in mind if you are returning later at night.
The hallway carpet and upgrades looked nice and still had that new carpet smell, but the thinness of the walls made for a challenging night’s sleep. Well, that and the pillows did not appear to be the same ones used at other establishments despite the fact the cases were labeled firm and soft. You can hear every time anyone near your room opened a door or said something in a normal voice. The toilets flushed extremely loud and the sound of our neighbor’s woke me up more than once. I have stayed at other brands where a sound machine is included in the room. I am thankful we packed one for the trip, because even with it sleep didn’t come easily.
The best thing this hotel has going for it is its closeness to all that Pigeon Forge has to offer. If you are a heavy sleeper, it might be just the place.

This was our first time experiencing this version of Holiday Inn. Our family has preferred to stay in Holiday Inns for our vacations and we've continued to be loyal customers as members for quite some time. The location of the hotel was great, it was crisp and clean. Did the job as some may say! The free breakfast and free parking was also good. Some things that hit the mark for us included driving all day and not being able to get in for our reservation for 30+ minutes, noting there were no more rooms. This was all at 10pm+, which felt extremely exhausting and disappointing. Additionally, the AC in the room was set at 60⁰, which seemed crazy for any temperature outside. Another factor that missed the mark was the sleep experience. The one bed squeaked the entire night and shifted around. Super strange! Those were the major setbacks for us as a family. Overal, would give our hotel stay experience a 3/5 stars for this new chain.

I booked a room at this hotel and when I arrived , I realized there was no pool even though online , there was a picture of a pool. I wanted to cancel my reservation and was told that I'd be charged for 2 full nights, but was given an 800 number to call to see if I could have the charge reversed. Unfortunately , I was charged for 2 nights even though we didn't stay at the hotel. Super disappointing , coming from such a big chain that two hundred and twenty four dollars couldn't be reversed.
Edit to my original review.
I was under the impression your hotel had a pool and was going to stay for 2 nights. But upon arrival discovered there was no pool. I was also under the impression that putting my credit card was holding the room but not actually reserving it because when I arrived the front office girl request , I put my credit card in the card reader because she said " you haven't been charged yet" when I asked why I needed to use my card. When I realized there was no pool, I decided to switch hotels and made a reservation at another iha hotel up the road.
When I came back in to your hotel and stated that we were going to switch hotels I was told I was going to be charged for 2 nights, but was given an eight hundred number to reach out to to discuss the situation. When I called the eight hundred number , they said that the garner hotel would be the only ones that could say that I would not be charged, so I called back to the Garner hotel. I was then told by your front desk cerk that I was not being charged. Which I thanked her and was very appreciative. Then I discovered a charge of two hundred and twenty four dollars from my debit card and was extremely disappointed and lied to.
