  I had the pleasure of chatting with Julie during breakfast!! She was very affable and a fun conversationalist. Julie also provided toptier breakfast service and had great tips for the surrounding area!! 5 Stars!!

  This hotel is clean and quiet. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. When I arrived, the elevator was out of order and my room was on the top floor. They did offer to change it to a lower floor, but I declined. The following day the elevator was repaired. The breakfast service was very quick and there are a lot of options. The staff, Julie, really stood out was warm and friendly. She takes her job seriously and it shows. The downside of the service is that there is rarely an attendant at the front desk. Of all the times I've stayed here, I always have to wait 5 or more minutes for the front desk attendant to return. Waiting is not always a problem, but sometimes my schedule is tight. It is always irritating. Overall, its a nice place to stay when you are in the Newport area!

  Holiday Inn Express is our go to place when traveling. New Port HIE was very nice- restaurants right across the street and others very close by. Julann was very friendly and helpful at our morning breakfast we give her alone 5 or 10 stars ⭐️! We will definitely stay there again . 👍🏼

  Our trip was impromptu, with overnight stays as we traveled from one destination to the next. We booked through Expedia and specifically reserved and paid for a king suite because that was what was showing as available. Unfortunately, when we arrived, my husband and I were given a room with two queen beds instead. When I called the front desk, the response was essentially, “Well, you booked through Expedia,” as though that made it our problem. Thankfully, Expedia took care of the situation, but the front desk could have handled it with a little more professionalism and customer service. The room itself was fine, although the bathroom had a strong moldy smell, possibly from a shower curtain that needed to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. The highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast the following morning! Julie was absolutely wonderful. She greeted us warmly, took great care of us, and sent us back on the road feeling much better about our experience as a whole. Good customer service can make all the difference, and Julie was a perfect example of that. Thank you, Julie! You were the bright spot of our stay!

  Stayed at the Holiday Inn for the weekend with a family of five. The hotel was in a great location right next to Walmart and other shopping areas. The hotel was great for family and offered a full breakfast with many choices to include biscuits, pancakes, different offerings to include , juices, and hot coffee or tea, variety of fruit yogurt, and whatever you desired they had it very nice breakfast display. The staff at breakfast were awesome. Jillenn and Julie provided awesome friendly and quick service and kept the dining area extremely clean and offered help with everything.and kept the area stocked and full each day we were there. Donnette was awesome at our initial check-in and check out always provided quick and accurate service extremely friendly and very helpful with everything allowed us to check out later due to some personal issues. Also, I left some of my belongings in the room and the housekeeping staff, Pops and Donna were so quick and efficient to returned my items to me before I was able to depart the hotel a big thank you to them both for their kindness. The hotel staff that work there made the stay excellent memorable and worth coming back! A special thank you to Donnette, Julillenn, and Julie Are the wonderful and friendly customer service they provided they are definitely an asset to the establishments.
