I ve stayed here numerous times over the last decade.
Reasons I like it:
Value-its almost always priced well below other downtown hotels
Easy to get to
Free parking
Shuttle down town
On site restaurant/bar
Summer time the pool area is quiet/nice
Writers rounds in the restaurant on Thursday and Friday nights
Staff is pleasant helpful
Reasons you might not prefer this location:
It’s dated
The room bathrooms are dated so they don’t appear fresh even though they are clean.
Overall,
I keep going back because it works for me. Maybe you’ll agree, maybe you won’t. 😊

Currently laying in bed at 8 am this morning and thought I was sleeping in today on vacation and the room next door has been doing construction and hammering on the walls for an hour now and thank you for setting the hotel room alarm for 7 am to wake us up also, I wanted to throw that out the window this morning! That was lovely. Will not be back.

Overall, I'd definitely stay here again.
The hotel is larger than your typical Hampton Inn or similar chain hotel, and I was honestly expecting to spend half the evening wandering around trying to find my room. Surprisingly, the layout was very easy to navigate. Check-in was quick, parking was easy, and every employee I interacted with was friendly and welcoming.
The room itself was clean, and that's always my biggest priority. The bedding was clean, the bathroom was clean, and everything felt well cared for.
The only reason I wouldn't personally call it a perfect 5-star stay is that the property is starting to show its age in a few places. Nothing major—just little maintenance items like some rust spots around the bathtub and a few cosmetic things that could use a facelift. It didn't affect my stay at all, but it's noticeable if you're paying attention.
My biggest suggestion for future guests is to request a room that doesn't have an adjoining door if possible. The sound insulation through that door isn't the greatest, and let's just say... I became a little more familiar with my neighbors' evening activities than I had planned. 😅 That's obviously not the hotel's fault, but it's something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.
I also wish hotels would simply include parking and any resort or destination fees in the advertised room rate instead of adding them later. Even with those extra charges, though, this hotel still ended up being less expensive than another nearby hotel I stayed at the night before—and honestly, I enjoyed this stay much more.
If I were scoring it myself, it'd be about a 4.5 out of 5. The staff was excellent, the room was clean, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was a good one. I'd absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a fair price.

Just not clean and very VERY GRIMEY individuals
My stay 6/22/26 - 6/25/26
Far from EVERYTHING but LABELED “CLOSE”
They have a shuttle bus that come in increments of spaced our hours soooooo… that’s prolly what they are talking about !!
Critters in hallways that probably snuck into some rooms ( luckily not mines )
Lazy staff! There were wet towels sitting in the hallway at 6 different units on my floor for 3 days that never got picked up… explains the critters btw..!
Desk lady’s have to be part time scammers! At arrival, I already paid online! She said I never did because their computer systems were “messed up”
Then said I never paid my Incidentals ( btw incidentals are charged when you’re checking in not online … ) yes she WASN’T NEW… ANYWAYS. Swiped my card THREE TIMES and said it keeps declining idk what’s happening but you either need to move money over or call your card to see if they locked it for the night…
I looked at her like I’ve had this bank 6 years my card never lock at night anyways she swipes it a 4th time it goes through ( all this in the span of 9 minutes btw ) anyways
Fast forward a day and a half I check my bank statement I see 2 $200 incidental charges and 2 $540 dollar Hotel charges DOT DOT DOT.
Just know to call your bank before going to the desk because that’s what I did and I went down there on timing !! She tried to tell me to call my bank to get the charge taken off and the other chargeS are incidentals they should clear minus the $21 a day for amenities and something for the shuttle bus (that I never used btw) and go back on the 30th. but it shouldn’t have been 2 pending charges and why was my card charged twice for the hotel… she kept talking in circles like oh that happened to someone else earlier it’s an easy fix etc. ( so imagine the people who never caught onto that… and how she was talking was like butter like she did this before )
Let me sum this horrible hotel encounter up
So the 1st came non of the 3 unnecessary charges came off so I called my bank and got EVERY LART DOLLAR BACK …
You may say then it shouldn’t have matter you got your money back.( blah blah blah ) that’s not the point
The point is
1. VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & SLOPPY
2. Imagine if you didn’t have enough money and they were taking money off your card. It will put a negative balance on your card and any money you do get put in or refunded to you it goes towards that negative not make it go back positive.
How I know? I had a life before of not having nothing
This was a short business trip so imagine staying longer… might take home some extra friends as well!
Anyways that’s my review☺️
