  DO NOT STAY HERE!! This hotel should not have the Holiday Inn sign on the building. This was my first time in Nashville and I wish I had read the reviews on this property before I booked two night. When I arrived I was put in room 219. Upon entry into the room I noticed it smelled funky. Heavy chlorine smell mixed with a musty odour. I thought the room was above a pool, I was wrong. I went to the front desk to request a different room but I guess I received the last room in the hotel. It was late so I shortened my stay to one night. The mould smell progressively worsened and was unreal by morning. The room did not feel clean, the paint was falling off the ceiling and the exhaust fan was all noice with no air movement. This is a shabby hotel. Checked out the following morning and found a better place to stay. The breakfast: wow. Not a normal Holiday Inn breakfast. The breakfast area was filthy, over flowing garbage and poorly stocked breakfast items. Very disappointing. DO NOT MAKE A Reservation here. Did you know if you cancel after reading the reviews, you will still be charged for one night? I booked the reservation at $151 per night, but when I received my bill, the rate magically changed to $179. There are far better places to stay in Nashville. To the manager: no need to write a response with apologies and how you regret that my expectations were not met. Clean up your hotel and refund the difference in the room rate charged. You owe me $28 plus tax.

  The reviews are true. The front desk staff are as polite as can be. However, that's not what we are paying for when staying at the hotel. Inside and out of the hotel needs attention. The sink in my particular room would bubble all through the night and fill with water from who knows where. The bathroom kinda clean, but the shower definitely needs attention. The bed on the other hand was extremely comfortable. I did visit the breakfast area. I did not eat, but the area was really clean and presented very well. There was broken glass throughout the parking lot that should have been cleaned up. Will I stay there again? No, absolutely not. The location is great, but that and friendly service is not enough to continue drawing people to your hotel. I would love to see this hotel do well, but I hope it doesn't make another penny until after these real issues and real concerns are corrected. Once we all realize that they need us more than we need them and stop spending our money with them, then and only then will our concerns be taken seriously.

  The rooms were kind of small, and the place was really compact. The service was great, and the location was very convenient, so a great experiance overall.

  I’m never coming back. I’ve been here a few times but it has really gone downhill. The toilet was clogged, the AC was very loud and there wasn’t any coffee maker in the room. There is also several homeless people in the area.

  We booked this Holiday Inn for a quick overnight. Needless to say our exit was not quick. ALMOST EVERY CAR IN THE PARKING LOT HAD A SMASHED WINDOW! ACCORDING TO ANOTHER GUEST, THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS WEEK! THE HOTEL HAS CAMERAS, BUT OBVIOUSLY NO ONE WATCHES THEM AT NIGHT AND NO SECURITY EVEN THOUGH GUESTS HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED THIS TREATMENT. DEFINITELY DON'T STAY HERE!!
