This hotel is disgusting. The biggest issue we had during our stay was that we discovered BED BUGS in our room. Beyond having filthy rooms, bed bugs is a health hazard and completely unacceptable. We immediately reported this issue to the front desk, and were told "We have no open rooms, you will have to wait until 6am if you want a deep cleaning done". When we asked about compensation for this HEALTH HAZARD, they offered us a $15 discount, no refunds. Staff is very good at dodging the blame, and stating "it is out of my hands" and providing no solutions or accommodations. When we asked to speak to a supervisor regarding this issue, we were told "Management is home sleeping and cannot handle this issue right now". I am glad management sleeps perfectly fine and undisturbed at night in their beds WITHOUT BED BUGS knowing the atrocious state of their facility. At this point, we requested management contact us in the morning regarding this issue. I received no contact from management until after I filed a complaint with best western directly. It is clear that staff and management does not care about the cleanliness of their facility and satisfaction of their guests. Beyond the bed bugs, sheets were brown and stained, furniture had numerous white stains on them, broken glass in the hallways, mold behind the headboards, and what appeared to be feces smeared into the carpeting in the hallways. My group and I ended up leaving at 1am and driving home due to the gross state of this hotel. It was only until we were walking out of the doors with our belongings that they offered us a new room that "suddenly became available", yeah right. We checked this new room, it was even worse than the previous. Gross sheets, more stained furniture, cigarrette odors, and we even found a journal from previous guests under the sheets, proving that housekeeping is NOT CHANGING THE SHEETS between guests.

Room was satisfactory. Be prepared to wait for the elevators as they only have one that work. It doesn't appear that they are following safety inspections. Looking at previous reviews, it appears. The elevator has been down for over a year. I did report it to the state board of elevators. I asked to see the safety inspection record since it was not displayed in the elevator. Was told that it would be emailed to me so far , it has not. Several guest had to walk the stairs.

We drove 3 hours back home instead of staying the night here.
A friend and I came to Nashville for a concert at Nissan Stadium. We chose this hotel because it’s only a 10 minute drive to the stadium parking. We booked it several months in advance and prepaid for the room a couple days ahead of the stay. As soon as I walk in, I’m harassed by a man trying to sell me on his shuttle services to the stadium. I explain to him that I’ve already paid for parking at the stadium and will drive myself. I have to explain this 3 more times before he leaves me alone and I can actually speak with the front desk about checking in. Who did nothing, by the way, the entire time this man was pestering me. 3pm I check in and my friend and I head up to start our makeup, hair, and outfit changes to get to the stadium by 4:30p. We leave the hotel by 4:15p. At this point we’ve only spent time at the bathroom sink and just enough time in the main sleeping area to drop off our bags and change clothes for the concert. At this time, we did not get a good look at the space due to time constraints, but one thing was obvious and that’s the carpet that was missing with exposed nails as soon as you walk in the door. Yikes. We decided not to confront the front desk with this due to our time constraints. After the concert, we pick up food and head back to the room just after 12am and eat. As we start getting ready for bed, we realized just how dirty the room was. There were stains everywhere; some more strange than others. I first turned the lamp on that’s above the chair in the corner of the room and immediately see that there is some residue on the chair. It’s so disturbing we decide to check the beds for bed bugs and start pulling the sheets back. Although we did not spot any bugs, we found more stains on both beds. At this point we start contemplating how we want to proceed with our booking (change rooms or leave) but we’re both exhausted and decide to at least try to shower first. My friend attempts to shower but the drain of the tub will not remain open so the tub would just fill with water. Not to mention the pink mildew on the walls and black mold on the ceiling. We opted out of showering and at this point, decide we just want to leave but not before spotting all the stains on the wall by the toilet. We pack our bags, load up the car and drive down to the front desk. We turn in our keys and request a refund which they refused because we checked in at 3pm and it was now 1am. We spent a maximum of 3 hours on the property and tried to explain how dirty the room was and our timeline of things but alas, that didn’t matter.
At this establishment I saw: people doing drugs, people in their underwear, absurd amounts of loud music, creepy groups of people outside for no reason, extremely unpleasant staff that are refusing to refund me my money within a 30-minute booking, and more unpleasantries. Book elsewhere. I did not feel safe or valued at all. Never again and I will definitely be spreading the word.
I called for employees to stay at this particular location and was hung up on twice! If this establishment is that busy to the point where you have to hang up to check in another guest while I'm on the phone fine, I'll come up personally. Even arriving in person you took care of everyone respectfully and professionally except for ME! When I arrived, you told me that y'all were very busy and that you had to check in the other guests. I told you that I needed 4 rooms. You said okay, let me check. It's exactly 3:15 pm as I write this. You asked me to step to the side and I watched you check in 8 ppl and then tell me that you were sold out all be I asked you about the rate from my last stay as compared to this stay. It was $40 cheaper this time and you wrote me off and sold out after I asked for a price comparison from my last stay! The question was to provide additional information to the company and you looked at me and in my face sold your last rooms as I stood there like you asked me to. You don't value nor respect black women, there money, or our business. And I will make sure to spread the word.
