We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Murfreesboro! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, quiet, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a great experience!

I’m definitely going to try to hire Amber for my Son’s wedding reception. Hopes she takes the she is most beautiful and smart receptionist I have ever encountered!! Amber is the BEST!!!!
Great hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Pool was refreshing. Staff was wonderful everywhere you turned. Mary, who worked the breakfast shift, and Amber, on the night shift of the lobby were especially great. The breakfast is night and day from any other hotel breakfast buffets (real scrambled eggs!)with nice choices of fresh food, including fresh fruit. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers. Bonus - Jonathan's Grille, which is fantastic, is a 2 minute walk from here as well.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Holiday Inn Murfreesboro. I paid nearly $200 for one night, and the room was nowhere near worth that price.
The room was very humid from the moment we arrived. The sheets, blankets, and pillowcases all felt damp, and I had to sleep in the other bed because of how uncomfortable it was. The air conditioning was set to 65°F, and I heard it come on before going to sleep, but I woke up to the room being 77°F, so it never properly cooled the room.
The bathroom was hot like a sauna, smelled musty, and appeared moldy. I didn’t even take a shower because it was so uncomfortable. There was rust in the corners of the bathroom, and the walls throughout the room had marks, stains, and visible dirt. Overall, the room did not feel clean or properly maintained.
What made the experience even worse was the customer service. When I raised concerns about the room conditions and requested a refund or credit, I felt my concerns were dismissed. I was told about delays related to remodeling and air conditioning issues, but guests should not be expected to discover these problems after paying nearly $200 for a room. These issues should be disclosed or addressed before a room is rented.
For the price paid, I expected a clean, comfortable room and better customer service. Instead, I received a humid room with a non-working air conditioner, cleanliness concerns, and an unsatisfactory response from management. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.
This is a very odd review for me to write, it's seldom that I have such a mixed impression of a place. To start with, the good:
The hotel is VERY fresh and new feeling, everything felt very clean, well-kept, and well cared for. The room was acceptably spacious, the elevators were quick and smooth, plenty of parking, and everything was very clean. The check-in staff (the only staff we had need to interact with) was super friendly as well.
But the downsides:
The continental breakfast is $12 a person! I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel at this price point, or even quite a few of lower price points, that don't have the continental breakfast as just part of the room price. And not a cheap upcharge for it, either! Likewise, the advertised EV charging they have in the listing is just a commercial, extremely slow, and fairly expensive charging station in the parking lot. It is neither included, nor discounted for guests. That's another first for me, every hotel I've been to that listed charging for the car had that as inclusive with the room price, not as another upcharge.
The bed in the room was also *incredibly* hard. I love a firm mattress, ours at home is already on the firm side of the line, but this was hard to the point of feeling almost like a sheet of plywood with a couple rather crinkly-feeling blankets on it. I think the floor might have been softer, with as nice of carpet as the have in the hotel.
I don't think we'll be visiting this one again, there are quite a lot of hotels in the immediate area, and in my opinion, this one is just too costly after all the up-charges to be worth it. Which is sad, because the hotel itself is really nice for the price!
