  My husband and I like to stay at Candlewood Suites because we bring our small dog with us. We stayed at the Murfreesboro location to attend a celebration of life for a close friend. The second floor room was clean and quiet but it rained. Unfortunately the windows leaked,so the room was as humid as it was outside. While I would recommend this location to others, I suggest that management have the windows inspected and repaired, as everything (clothing, bedding, etc.) became damp. Also, our shower towels never fully dried and we stayed three nights.

  Our room was clean and was a good size, our particular room smelled really bad, not sure if there is a mildew/moisture problem. The downstairs hallway also smelled bad. Mary at the front desk was wonderful and would give her 5 stars! Thank you for taking great care of us! ⭐️

  Avoid this location - Neglect and poor service I had a terrible experience at Candlewood Suites Murfreesboro. My stay was defined by neglect from start to finish. I arrived at 12:30 AM only to be left waiting for 30 minutes because the staff couldn't find my confirmed reservation. The building itself is in poor condition; the hallways constantly stunk of mold and trash, and the room was no better. With only one cleaning service provided per week, the standard of hygiene is completely lacking. No fresh towels, you retrieve those yourself. To make matters worse, I was misled by the front desk, who claimed my early departure fee would be waived—a promise that was ultimately broken. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere; this "pathetic" lobby and vacant front desk are indicative of the level of care you can expect here. If I could give 0 stars I would.

  I booked a king. Got to the hotel and they put us into 2 queens, which with a husband who is well over 6 foot tall means he doeant sleep comfortably at all since his feet are off the bed. . Then when I said it was unacceptable they blamed corporate for changing our reservation since we weren't part of a group. I texted with customer relations. They supposedly filed a report and were telling the owner and manager. And they would be getting back to me in 14 to 48 hours. I went downstairs to the desk again and they tried to 'fix it' by sending me to a king room which was hot, and the hallways smelled musty and like cigarette smoke. With my medical conditions I can't be in an area like that aince it makes me very sick. I came back and gave the king room keys back and they said that was all they could do. The manager did not care at all. When we checked out this morning, and I brought it back up, she was more than happy to be polite and happy because there was another customer behind me. They did absolutely nothing. Now we have a 10 hour drive today with very limited sleep since the a/c didnt work well in our room either and my husband was uncomfortable all night from not fitting on the bed. Hotel said corporate can change your reservation. And corporate said that they can't without our permission, and said the hotel did it. There is no table in either room other than a desk pushed against the walls and one chair, so if it's a couple you won't be able to eat together. The ice maker was slow and barely produced any ice. I am also a platinum elite member and usually stay at candlewood suites. This place was a joke. And I really do not believe that management or the hotel will do anything or contact me about this horrendous stay. Buyer beware here
