  RUN FAR AWAY!!! 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. You would think with a hotel this newly built or upgraded they would have quiet ac units. Ha! Funny. Attached is a picture of how we had to rig the unit just so it didn’t sound like glass chiming together. We had a suitcase wedged between the unit & the wall & water bottles on top to stop the rattle. We also had to ask for post-it notes from the front desk (at 1:00am) to cover the smoke detector flashing light because it was as bright as a cameras flash. There is another panel on the ceiling that has flickering lights as well (what looks like a motion sensor). The lady at the desk said there were no rooms to move us to yet I’m able to go online & book a room (added the screenshot from my phone showing the room availability). The two phone numbers we were given by this lady are for hotel employee support, not customer service issues. This trip was for our daughter’s birthday & now we have 2 exhausted adults & 2 tired kiddos & a full day of activities ahead of us we can’t even get excited for because we can barely hold our eyes open. Comping a room can’t get back those lost hours of sleep. I would sleep in my car before I would stay at this hotel again. As a matter of fact, my partner never came back to bed after the trip to the desk at 1:00am & did end up staying in the car until the morning. Not homey, not cozy, our room was tiny with 2 double beds & not even a dresser. You can also hear the guests above us in our room. The pictures online are very misleading. Spend a few extra bucks & stay elsewhere. Extra pictures from the lobby bathrooms. Pee & hair (bathroom by the breakfast bar) on the toilet seat & no hand towels in the other lobby bathroom (in the pool area). We were trying to stay downstairs so the kids could sleep without us coming in & out. The second lady that helped us at the desk Camila was extremely helpful! After being on the customer service line for nearly 2 hours, being transferred to 6 different people (not an exaggeration) & hung up on 4 times, Camila was the only one to actually get us the help we needed. She tried to reach her manager but they were in a meeting. You would think that the manager of an establishment would at least reach out to us about our situation. Not a word. Camila got us in a new room. The ac unit was still noisy. Maintenance came in & fixed it to the best of his ability but we still had to shove our suitcase under the unit in order for it not to knock. These units are so old there is no repairing them. They need replaced. IHG has not comped anything, they would not put us in another hotel because they said all of their other hotels were booked & the rooms they had left were not rooms we could use our points on. Which we shouldn’t have to use OUR points for their lack of a comfortable stay. IHG refused to make up the deficit of points for an upgraded room at any other of their hotels nearby. We have been using their facilities for 14 years & are platinum members as my partner travels for work. We will be relaying our experience to her company & advise against using IHG for their stays as well. We will sleep in our cars, again, before we ever book with another IHG hotel. Two days later & still no call from the hotel manager. Just some lousy, generic reply here for the world to see.

  Check in. Took forever. Loud air conditioner. Paper thin walls. Doors slamming. People partying outside. Stayed 3 nights. Room never cleaned. Never staying there AGAIN.

  The rooms were nice and the location had easy access to the interstate. I dropped my overall review because of a couple of service items. They only issued us one keycard and when we asked for another because there were two of us, they said they had limited stock and could only give us one. Annoying, but fine. The room I purchased didn't come with breakfast, which I was fine with because it had every day room service...and that didn't happen. We were out of towels and coffee and that made it hard to justify the cost of the room since we also didn't grt breakfast. Again, room was nice, great location but they missed the mark on some of the service type things I expect for a hotel of this cost.

  The rooms were clean and the hotel is well kept. The staff was friendly. This is probably specific to our room but from above us it sounded like someone was dragging a chair across the floor all night. The drain in our bathtub didn't work. The blinds in our room didn't go all the way Down so light was coming into our room as soon as the sun came up. I know this isn't their fault but one of the elevators was not working and the one that was working took a very long time. Usually there are stairs right next to the elevators but the stairs were on the complete other side of the building.
