  We are frequent travelers and loyal IHG members, so we usually know what to expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Unfortunately, this location in Millington fell well short of the standard we’ve come to expect from the brand. The room felt old and unkempt. The furniture looked dated, the carpet was worn, and overall it just didn’t feel clean or well-maintained. The bed was sagged out and uncomfortable — we both woke up with backaches. The bathroom was also in need of updating and felt cramped. Breakfast was meh at best — the usual continental spread, but the food was lukewarm, the selection was limited, and the area wasn’t kept very clean during service. The front desk staff was polite, and the location was convenient, but for the price and especially as IHG members, this stay was disappointing. We won’t be returning to this property. Our view sucked but I suppose someone has to have the sucky view.

  Quick and courteous check-in. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the hotel was quiet throughout the night. The morning breakfast food was fresh, and there was a good variety of options. Overall, an excellent overnight stay!

  I wanted to rewrite my review after the management today was gracious enough to address the concerns that I had about the noise in the lobby and to say that for the past 3 years I've had a fantastic experience at this hotel and recommend it for people who are traveling for the ease of getting to restaurants and also it is really close to the Navy base if you were going there for any kind of visit
