This used to be my favorite place to stay but the last few times, all within the last 2-3 months, have been awful. The beds and pillows are heavenly, the drinks and desserts are all fantastic, but one of the bartenders made my drink using his hands to grab the blueberries and then wiped his nose on his arm… I asked the other bartender to make me a new drink. Then the next time I stayed there, the lobby was full of very loud dudes and later there were a ton of gun shots and the crowd scattered into all the surrounding businesses. And I was stupid enough to book again because my friend has never been and nobody will answer the phone. They’ve gone so way downhill and it’s super sad because it was such a fun and iconic place. Lanky Bros clothing store is always amazing and Jamie is the best!

Came here with my family with my autistic brother. We walked around and the security watched our every step then questioned us and asked if wanted to see the security footage. All we were doing were walking around on the second floor to satisfy my autistic brother’s adventurism and help him explore. The possible head security guard questioned us cause my brother was trying to open the door to the ballroom. Very unprofessional and I will never be coming again. Please fire him

Our stay at The Peabody Memphis served its purpose, but for the price, I expected better maintenance. There was peeling paint on the bathroom door that fell off when opening and closing the door and a chipped floor tile that caused me to stub my toe and break my toenail. The TV displayed a welcome message with another couple's name as well. We are Kesha and Kenny. It displayed Matt and Noe. Definitely didn't make the stay feel personalized and accommodating.
It is also not a quiet hotel. The external noise coupled with the noise from inebriated guests and visitors caused interrupted rest. This is probably out of the hotel's control though. The vending machines also did not work.
The spa was great and I really enjoyed the fitness center. Our valet, Charles, was absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and friendly. The spa attendants were amazing as well! Definitely a major highlight of our stay!

We came to Memphis specifically to see the famous Peabody ducks, and I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy the entire experience as much as we did!
Parking was super easy. We parked in the lot across the street, and it was only about a two-minute walk to the hotel. Along the way, we even found a beautiful angel-wing mural and, of course, I had to take a picture! 😂 My kids immediately told me, “Mom, get on your tippy toes—the wings don’t match!” So naturally, I did. 😂
The moment we walked into The Peabody, I was blown away. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The beautiful woodwork, ceilings, and light fixtures had me stopping to look at everything. There is something elegant and special about every part of the lobby.
We didn’t get to see the actual Duck March, but the ducks were hanging out at the fountain, and that was still such a fun experience. Duckmaster Keanan came out to feed them, and we had the opportunity to chat with him while we were sitting at the lobby bar. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I had several questions because we have ducks back home at International Spring Park in Huntsville, and he was so patient about educating me and answering everything I asked.
And let me tell you about the drinks! 🍹🥃 We all had one. I had the Ducky Sunshine, and Emmett my husband had an Old Fashioned. They were absolutely phenomenal! We sat right by the fountain where the ducks were, which made the whole experience even better.
We also went up to the rooftop to see where the ducks live, which was such a cool way to finish the visit.
We didn’t stay at The Peabody, but after spending time there, seeing the ducks, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, meeting Keanan, and having drinks at the lobby bar, I can honestly say this is absolutely worth adding to your Memphis itinerary—even if you’re not a hotel guest.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful experience, wonderful staff, and of course… THE DUCKS! 🦆❤️
If you’re visiting Memphis, go see them. You won’t regret it!

In all my times visiting the US, I have never once felt discriminated against—until today. I am a Dutch woman with a light-tan skin tone. We are currently staying at The Peabody Hotel and wanted to have breakfast at Capriccio Steakhouse.
We asked if there was a buffet, and we were guided over there in a very messy and unwelcoming manner. Afterward, we were shoved into a noisy corner. When I went to get some yogurt, the container was completely empty. I politely notified two different staff members, and both times I was told, "We'll be right there." I stood there waiting with my bowl, but they kept walking right past me and ignoring me. It wasn't until a line of white Americans formed behind me that they finally took action.
In all my travels, I have never felt like this before. We left our food on the table and walked out.
Honestly, I am at a loss for words. I am not overly sensitive, nor do I get easily offended, but this was absolute disgrace. I completely understand now how certain people feel in this country. Unacceptable.
On top of that, the room upgrade was a complete disappointment. We paid for an upgrade after being promised a spacious room on the quiet side of the building with a couch. Instead, we were placed on the absolute noisiest side facing the street, and the "couch" was just a tiny loveseat. To top it off, the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. For this kind of money, I would have definitely stayed at a different hotel.
