  Honestly the staff here made this place extremely comfortable and homey. Michael at the front desk was one of the best hotel employees that I have met in years of traveling the globe at anywhere from two to five-star hotels. He is someone who truly cares. Michael was absolutely exceptional. He deserves a promotion immediately. I have stayed at very few places (definitely no three-star places!) where the front desk people actually memorize your name. I have spent months in five star hotels in Mexico, India, the Emirates, Qatar, and Kazakhstan. This was such a commitment to excellence on Michael's part that kind of blew me out of the water with how he went above and beyond. He also went out of his way to engage with guests and check in about their stay. This made my stay at the property feel not like a hotel but (I hate to say this because of how cliche it sounds) but like home away from home, as if a friendly uncle was checking in with me every day while I stayed at his place. I was extremely impressed with Michael's entire demeanor and commitment superior service. I would gladly stay at this property alone for the Michael experience. The housekeepers are all excellent and, despite a somewhat aging building, keep the rooms immaculate. The kitchen lady with all the hats and the kitchen man truly care about how you are finding the food in a sincere way, not the insincere way that staff sometimes ask at five star hotels. I can't tell you the amount of times I have gone to a "tipping-mandatory" sit-down restaurant where the servers don't even ask you about your food, let alone ask you in a sincere way and wait for your response. Staybridge staff blew these places out of the water! It is clear that the hospitality team at Staybridge is truly trying their best to make the hotel a good place to stay. Despite being "only" a three-star hotel, I would choose to stay here over much more expensive places I have spent days or weeks. They have an attentive front desk, FREE laundry (who has that these days? love it!), acceptable gym, clean and spacious pool and pool area, clean rooms, very decent hot breakfast, and responsive staff who truly value you as a guest. What more can you ask for?

  Really nice breakfast here! Fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, grits, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Solid location and very kind people at the front desk.

  Perfect location for events in East Memphis/Germantown. Quiet. Comfy beds. AC that is intuitive and works. Breakfast was good and coffee is free downstairs all day. Great location would stay here again.

  OK, so we got this room for 3 days. Reviews claimed the breakfast was excellent and great. So many varieties and all that. So I believed it...I was so disappointed on Saturday and Sunday. Sub par oatmeal Saturday and Sunday horrible grits. Options are few and in between. We're use to biscuits n gravy, hot oatmeal, bacon, eggs, omelets, links/patties, filtered water juices, warm hard boiled eggs. The kitchen ppl didn't care, none of them spoke, no good mornings or anything. Monday was the best breakfast, Robby, great young man, personality thru the roof. Greeted everyone he came across, ask if they needed anything, if he could help with this or that. Working in kitchen and buffet area. Wiping everything down as needed. I'm picky about the syrup canister, it was never sticky. Saturday and sunday, it was never cleaned. I used a napkin to hold it. I love to tip good service. I told Robbie, I'd return with a Lil something just for him. He was their redeemer...I might come back due to the king size bed, tho. Expectations for breakfast will not be high tho. Using a glass plate for my waffles did make me happier too, that was my mistake on the saturday. Use fresh eggs. Not that bag egg. Figure out a better variety, not just the add ons. Real bacon/ sausage on weekends . Whomever has been leaving the reviews have par hotel experiences or taste. I've never stayed at a Staybridge facility. It was my first I did enjoy the king size bed the first night but second night not so much but the 3rd night my back wasn't good. The suites are very spacious tho. Smelled of dog and needs FRESHER carpets and some white lighting would make it more welcoming. Sorry this was long.
