  Nice Staff. NASTY HOTEL WITH ROACHES Stayed 2 consecutive weeks for work. First week my comforter had menstrual stains. After asking for a new comforter 2 days in a row, I never received a replacement although multiple staff said they would replace them, including a front desk manager. Additionally, was charged incorrectly for my stay after confirming the proper payment. Never corrected by hotel. 2nd week, ROACHES and nasty bathroom. Got the room, and toilet had not been cleaned. Met the new manager and complained. Fortunately a staff member cleaned it who was doing a walk through with the new manager. Later that night, roaches were in the restroom. I killed one while another played peek-a-boo and left the hotel to stay with a friend. They promised me another room. Went to the new room the next day and was greeted by another roach. Told the new manager on her way out because she asked and nothing. No compensation. Just wasted apologies from front desk. Staff are friendly, but they have absolutely no follow through!!! They say they will help with a request and nothing happens. FYI My pictures will not post

  The room was clean and well maintained. I had a room with a separate living room for a week, and the AC was broken and they never fixed it while I was there. The breakfast was pretty good

  We came to visit family and stayed for three days. Unfortunately, both my room and my teen’s room had a strong mold-like odor throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was good, but the persistent odor in both rooms made our stay uncomfortable.

  Not at all up to Holiday Inn standards. Based on my recent stay at the excellent Holiday Inn Express in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, I had high hopes for my stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites Memphis-Wolfchase Galleria. However, immediately upon arriving at the property, my hopes were dashed. The grass outside the front of the hotel was completely grown up and could not have been mowed in weeks or months. The area of tiles outside the front door had grass growing up between the tiles and the mat in front of the front doors was kind of filthy with debris on it. It seemed that every walking surface in the hotel that was a hard surface was dirty and sticky, including the elevators. One of the reasons I selected this hotel was that my wife wanted a hot tub, so we checked out the tub and pool upon arrival and found that the pool water was not clear, actually kind of cloudy, and the hot tub water looked slightly yellow. Because of this my wife opted not to enter the hot tub. The room itself was pretty good except that there was mold growing on parts of the caulking around the tub. The bed was very comfortable and the AC unit worked very well. There was a long piece of some sort of plastic strip that was behind the floor lamp in the corner and seemed to be bracing the floor lamp so that it would not fall over. There was a conspicuous tear in the fabric of the chair in the corner. The plumbing for the ice maker on the third floor is exposed and draining down into the floor. The ice maker works fine but this just lends an unprofessional look to the situation. Some of the carpeting is worn and bunching up. My dinner and breakfast from the in-hotel restaurant were pretty good. The Wi-Fi was very good. While checking out this morning, I mentioned some of these issues to the lady at the front counter, and she seemed to indicate that she was aware that there were issues with the property condition. She that they were in the process of hiring for that position. She also indicated that she would be sending me some points because of some of these issues, which she has already done.

  We hosted our family reunion the weekend of July 17th and absolutely loved this hotel. Manager, Corea Lester, and the staff was extremely kind and very helpful. We had a great time and will stay again when we visit the area!
