Comfortable bed, quiet, nice clean fitness room with sweat towels, clean rooms and lobby, friendly staff and good breakfast.
We arrived and glad we didn’t stay at the hotel across the way, lady was yelling and banging on the window at the hotel.
Hotel was clean, well put together, super friendly staff, the lady up front was super nice, as well as the gentleman that was standing there too. As we was checking in, she offered down stairs, or upstairs room. We took the upstairs as bc it’ll be more quiet during the morning time.
The room was clean, no sheets, or bedding was dirty. Ac worked perfect in there.
I will say the showers are good, but you gotta be careful, it’ll flood the whole room with water.
Maybe they need to upgrade the shower curtains to prevent this as water spills out of them cloth ones.
10/10 service and no complaints, came all the way from Texas, and left the next morning to pigeon forge. 7 hour drive!

Being in a place with one elevator and you can't walk up or down stairs is a big insult,I had to sit on the floor and slide down the steps from the third floor and no one helped I will never recommend this hotel, I've stayed in other holiday inn express that were great , thankfully a friend carried my device down the stairs and sadly no one told me the elevator was out poor poor

The worst hotel experience I've ever had. At check in, they couldn't find my reservation and when they did, our room wasn't available. They ended up giving us 2 rooms for our large family, which was the only positive in the whole stay. Pool was under maintenance so it was closed, which was one of the reasons we chose here. At 11:30pm, the fire alarm went off for 30 seconds then it quit. In the morning, the elevator was out of order, and being on the 2nd floor made it a headache to haul our stuff up and down the stairs. My daughter has a sprained ankle so this made it even harder on her. Breakfast was OK, but the trash can was overflowing and no one emptied it. Tables were dirty and had trash on some of them.
Only other positive was that the rooms were pretty clean. I'd give it zero stars if I could.
I would not recommend this Holiday Inn Express in Memphis, Tennessee to anybody. This was a terrible experience from the moment I got there, and the room was absolutely not worth the money.
The room did not feel clean, safe, or properly taken care of. It looked nasty, smelled unpleasant, and gave the impression that housekeeping either rushed through it or did not clean it properly at all. The bedding did not feel fresh, the sheets did not look like something I could trust, and the overall condition of the room made me uncomfortable staying there. I also saw bugs, which is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one charging guests like they are providing a clean and professional stay.
The customer service made the situation even worse. The front desk was rude, unhelpful, and acted like the problems were not important. Management did not seem concerned either. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to correct the situation, it felt like they just wanted to take the money and ignore the complaints.
The property also had things that were not working properly, which added to the frustration. Between the poor condition of the room, the bugs, the questionable cleanliness, the rude staff, and the lack of accountability, this was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced.
I would strongly advise people to stay somewhere else. Do not waste your money here. This hotel needs serious attention from ownership, corporate, housekeeping, maintenance, and management. Guests deserve clean rooms, working amenities, and respectful service. This location failed badly in every area.
