  I don’t know how this is listed as a 2 star hotel but it’s DEFINITELY a 5.. we were originally booked next door at the Hyatt. We arrived and they didn’t have the room we had booked and paid for, lobby was DIRTY and smelled like cigarettes. We came next door to the holiday inn and the gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful. We got a room booked and checked in within 10 minutes. Lobby was nice and clean.. the room was even better. Very clean and didn’t have the “hotel musty smell” that a lot have. Highly recommend this holiday inn if you’re in the Memphis area!

  Very clean, newly renovated. Rooms were big, well laid out, and comfortable. The pool is filled in.

  I exclusively stay at IHG hotels and am an IHG Rewards member. I typically have great experiences with the staff, but this location was a letdown. A family member unexpectedly joined me on my trip. Even though rooms with two beds were available, the staff member would not let us change rooms. My family member is 6'2", and she suggested the couch. We assumed she meant a pull-out sofa, but it was just a small bench and not a realistic sleeping option for an adult. In my experience, IHG staff are usually willing to help and accommodate if options are available. To be unwilling to help and then end the conversation with, "...and thank you for being a rewards member," felt insincere. The location and facility were nice, but the lack of accommodation and customer service made this a disappointing experience and a waste of points.

  Nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was good and the coffee was 24/7. The satellite TV by Dish was very glitchy and made watching TV annoying, but I didn't want to move and I am not sure if it was just my room or the entire hotel. It was clean though!
