  My experience was less than desirable. Bed was comfortable but recliner was broken so bad you couldn't sit in it, shower valve didn't operate normally and you got either scalding hot or cold water, not enough utensils for two people, roaches crawling out of the utensil drawers, multiple lights not working, dresser drawers broken, and door was difficult to open/close. The desk staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. They do have a decent outdoor area with gas grills. Property is conveniently located and looks new from the outside.

  For a candle wood, you would think they would be ready at three o'clock. August is a slow month for tourism. No reason guests should be waiting after three o'clock for room. The service was like motel. Yes, it is a nice hotel, and yes, it was clean, but I expect good service too, and there was lacking of

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. A government travel card issue arose at check-in. I repeatedly offered my personal card, but staff told me to wait for the government card to arrive. A week later, my room keys were deactivated without warning. I was told I “hadn’t paid,” despite the prior arrangement. A simple phone call could have resolved the issue. This type of nonchalant, petty behavior continued throughout my 30-day stay. The side entrance nearest my room malfunctioned for over two weeks despite repeated reports. This became a safety concern when several loose dog from the adjacent trucker parking lot rushed my dog and me and I could not quickly re-enter because the door reader failed. Beware of random people and animals loitering adjacent to the property. The property was dirty, with pet waste throughout common areas. Way too many dogs and no pet waste bags restocked at the identified station. My room had cockroaches (photos taken), a major bathroom leak that went unrepaired for days, and a TV outage that was never fixed. Unaddressed maintenance issues seem to riddle this property. After checking out a day early, I was incorrectly charged for an additional night and had to spend more time resolving billing errors. This was not the only billing error which speaks to the competency of the staff. It took several calls and long periods put on hold to address these issues. Poor maintenance, poor communication, poor professionalism. I cannot recommend this hotel.

  I saw over 30 cockroaches over the span of a few hours. The fewest I saw in a day was ~10, even after never leaving food out and staying clean. Room service is only done every 6 days, which is the cause of the roach infestation. Yet they post signs to bring your trash to an outside bin, blaming the customer for a problem they created. My bed springs were broken. The elevator was out for the middle duration of my stay. If it weren’t for the cockroaches it would have been decent, but you couldn’t pay me to come back here. Management offered me no discount or points when I described the disgusting conditions I lived in.

  I rarely put reviews but I really need to warn others about this horrible pkace. Very bad condition. AVOID at all cost Old, BROKEN, VERY SMELLY smoking smell everywhere, dirty sheets, dirry bathrooms, Elevator dose not work, you need to take tge stairs with your stuff and go through horrible stair case very dirty, very smelly. I mean I can go pages about this pkace....no room service, again no room service!!!. I would never recommend if there is Zero star I would use that. This place need immediately closed thoughroughlt renovated and cleaned
