  Very rude and unprofessional experience with the staff and management at this Holiday Inn. We were woken up around 8:00 a.m. by three employees being extremely loud and obnoxious near the laundry room. We are traveling with two dogs and had a long day of driving ahead of us, so I simply opened our door and asked if they could close the laundry room door to help keep the noise down. Instead of handling a very simple request professionally, one of the employees immediately became argumentative and started yelling that they could not close the door. When I asked to speak with a manager, the situation escalated even further, and she threatened to call the police. I went down to the front desk hoping to speak with management and resolve the situation. The employee told me her name was **Stephanie**, but when she spoke with the police, she identified herself as **Heather**. I have honestly never experienced this level of hostility from hotel staff over such a minor and reasonable request. The police officer who responded was actually very professional and kind. He told us to enjoy the rest of our trip, and I appreciated the way he handled the situation. I don't know if Heather was simply having a bad day, but there was absolutely no reason for a hotel employee to treat paying guests this way or escalate a simple noise complaint to the point of calling the police. We have stayed at many hotels while traveling and have never experienced anything like this. Hopefully management takes this seriously and addresses how guests are treated at this property.   We stay every year on our way to Wisconsin from Florida. The room conditions have greatly improved the last couple years. I still wish the bathrooms had fans - they get pretty steamy and damp with a family taking a couple showers. The breakfast is GREAT with the sweetest staff and the main reason we've kept coming back. It's literally right off the interstate with an easy on/ off.
