- JSJp SudburyAug 10, 20261.0They put me in a cheaper room than what I booked asked about it and was told it was what they had. Figured whatever, then the ac wouldn't cool the room (apparently a bad sensor was told by maintenance). When questioning Shannon at the front desk about a refund she told me it had to come from Expedia, and Expedia said that the hotel had to approve it. Went back to the hotel and was told they couldn't authorize it until the next morning. When I was again offered the room I told her the ac didn't work and her reply was, "The ac isn't supposed to cool the room down so I don't know what to tell you". When I questioned her amazing logic she became upset and said she was calling someone and then walked away. Came back with full attitude and again said there was nothing she could do. So definitely save your money and avoid this holiday in at all costs.

There were some extenuating circumstances around a planned work trip where my crews kept getting pushed off by the agency they were doing work for. Stephanie never missed a beat and updated our reservations without hesitation. We haven’t historically used Holiday Inn express but going forward. I will be using them almost exclusively. Thanks to Stephanie and our experience here.
