  Wish there was parking available that I didnt have to pay for. Otherwise amazing hotel with great service and a beautiful room and immaculate shower/bathroom.

  I had an outstanding stay at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure everything went smoothly. Check-in was quick and efficient, and every interaction throughout my stay reflected a team that takes pride in customer service. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean. The lobby, hallways, elevators, and guest room were all well maintained and spotless. My room was comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully laid out, with a very comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, strong water pressure, and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi that made it easy to get work done. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its location. It’s within easy walking distance of many downtown attractions, restaurants, entertainment, and business destinations, making it convenient whether you’re traveling for work or leisure. Parking was straightforward, and getting in and out of the area was much easier than I expected. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations for a hotel in this category. There was a wide variety of hot and cold options, everything was well stocked, and the dining area was clean and organized even during the morning rush. What really sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work, the common areas were consistently clean, and the overall property felt safe, modern, and well cared for. I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inn Express locations over the years, and this is one of the better ones. If you’re looking for a dependable, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel downtown with excellent service and great value, I would absolutely recommend this property. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.

  Great stay, front desk goes above and beyond. Checked in Thursday evening on july 30th. TV wasn't working and the front desk staff member came up and fixed it. Very clean too! Will stay here again. You are downtown so if you are a light sleeper make sure you bring ear plugs due to downtown traffic.

  am extremely disappointed with my stay. My 16-year-old daughter has significant disabilities, and TennCare arranged this hotel for us because we were in town for a medical appointment. The first issue was parking. There was no free parking, and I had to pay $30 extra just to park. This was an unexpected expense I wasn't told about. I was also told the hotel was handicap accessible, but the main entrance has steps. So to use the accessible entrance, I had to go around the back and wait about 10 minutes for someone to unlock the door. That was very difficult with a wheelchair and luggage.During check-in, the front desk employee told me that my daughter could not be checked in because she is a minor. and I've stayed at several other hotels without any issues. Instead of listening or verifying, the employee spoke to me dismissively, which felt very unprofessional. I understand that employees may not be familiar with every situation. But if they aren't sure, they should verify the information before speaking in a way that comes across as dismissive. Traveling with a child who has significant disabilities is already stressful, and I expected accessible accommodations, professionalism, and respectful customer service. Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the service I received. The lack of accessibility, the unexpected parking costs, and the unprofessional treatment at check-in made a difficult medical trip far more stressful. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve both accessibility, and the way they treat guests, especially families caring for loved ones with disabilities.

  I would like to highly commend Ms. Belinda and her staff for providing exceptional service during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. The hotel’s location was very convenient, with easy access to many local restaurants and attractions. I also looked forward to starting each day with the delicious breakfast served every morning. A special thank you to Ms. April and Mr. Eddie for making my stay such a memorable and enjoyable experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and outstanding hospitality truly stood out. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Knoxville area.
