- STSteel toe3 days ago3.0For a holiday inn express I’ve seen a lot better. They must have had mold problems. Saw dehumidifiers on the 2nd and 1st floor. Had a mildew smell. 3rd floor was good. Our room smelled funny but not bad. Weights were missing in the gym, no room coffee maker. Back parking is on a steep hill. Got to breakfast at 7 am. Nothing but some egg omelets left. Coffee was stellar. Don’t know about service. Didn’t ask for help with anything. Water pressure sucks. Everything else wasn’t bad at all. Good and quiet with comfy beds and pet friendly. Oh and there is a microwave in your room.

- KTKim TalleyMay 23, 20261.0Check in was fine, breakfast was clean and nice selection. However, the room felt sticky and humid upon arriving late last night. We figured it might be motion sensors or the ac needed to be turned down. We did this and getting into bed a little while later the sheets even felt sticky and humid. The carpet even felt that way. We woke in the morning and felt unrested, sticky and the sheets and floor still felt sticky. We love in florida so we understand humidity but this was actually disgusting. I avoided the front desk and he made excuses about the time of year and the fact our room is near the entrance to the pool. It is an outdoor pool. That doesn't make sense. There is a dehumidifier in the hallway but it wasn't running either from exhaustion or because it was full. Avoid at all costs imho.

We had only planned to stay 1 night but ended up rebooking with this same hotel on our way home because they were accommodating. We were traveling with our dog which can be a challenge. I’m so glad we found this awesome pet friendly hotel. Fabulous breakfast every morning with a wide variety of options. Rooms were immaculate and updated. And to top it all off all hotel staff were so kind and friendly. I highly recommend and would seek out this location to stay again. Thank you Kimball Holiday Inn Staff! We appreciated you for making our stay so enjoyable!
