  Outstanding stay thanks to Carla! We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The meeting room was perfect for a Zoom call I had to hop on—quiet, functional, and super convenient.

  It was where I needed it to be. The room was clean and comfortable. The employees we met were very nice and helpful. Food for breakfast was plentiful and the area was clean. Better than a restaurant. I would stay there again.

  The hotel was conveniently located for us after a long trip that day. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and modern; however, there was only one nightstand. I have to mention the unique luggage carts more like one you would find at an airport. They had passive brakes on them, which was very nice. I asked the front desk clerk about them. He told me they had to get those types of carts due to the slope in the parking lot. Many guest at overturned their carts in the past.

  This Holiday Inn Express stay was definitely not a good one. We checked in at around 8:30 pm with a grumpy man. The sofa had white hairs all over it, the Internet was extremely weak, the soft pillows were so soft that they became pancakes when your head lay on them, the toilet became stopped up by the morning of our 1 night stay, and the room affected my ability to breathe comfortably by morning. There was a sign at the front desk that indicated there would be no late check outs due to staffing problems. We have Diamond Elite status and spend more time in hotels than our home. I have never seen this before. The sign further indicated that you could use the conference room to wait if you needed more time. The conference room is definitely not welcoming. The breakfast area was also not welcoming as all lights were turned off. Upon checking out, I informed the lady about the toilet and white hairs on the couch. She didn't thank me for letting her know or apologize, she said I will have them deep clean the couch. On the positive side, breakfast was as expected, the shower was nice, they had new countertops, the mattress was comfortable, there were light bulbs in all the lights, and the hair dryer worked. We have stayed here before and things have definitely gotten worse.

  Clean Room, Disappointing Pool and Night Service The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries and amenities. Unfortunately, the pool was a major disappointment. It was dirty, full of leaves and bugs, and had piles of granulated pool chemicals sitting around the bottom. Despite complaining to staff, it looked the same throughout our four-day stay. Pool towels were repeatedly unavailable, and we were told to use our room towels instead. We were also told we could not have a beer by the pool, and the pool closed promptly at 10 p.m. If being able to relax by the pool with a drink is important to you, you may want to choose another hotel. The daytime staff were much more polite and accommodating than the nighttime staff. Overall, the room was good, but the pool and nighttime service took away from the experience. Recommendation: The pool needs to be much better maintained, and I strongly suggest extending pool hours on weekends and holidays. We were there over Labor Day weekend, on vacation, with temperatures in the upper 90s, so having a dirty pool with limited hours was especially disappointing.
