  EV PARKING in a place like Hixson!!!! 1 of 2 J1772 worked. 4 Tesla chargers. All things in context. This is a decent version of an economy two-star short stay motel. This is pretty much all that's available within Dixson. Friends stayed in a less expensive place and said it was in rough shape so I was happy I stayed here. Decent sized rooms for this type property, worn well used but maintained public spaces. Friendly helpful staff. Everything I came into contact with worked. Free parking spaces but the lot fills up. All basic essentials were present. King bed room was by the elevator. Avoid these rooms. Elevator doors slam shut and are loud. People use them all hours of the night. I was allowed to move rooms and appreciated it very much. I personally disliked the breakfast food but it's there and more than bread and juice. It's not a walkable area and there's not much in walking distance. But plenty of restaurants, shopping were a 4-6 min drive.

  I travel for work & usually try to stay IHG. Unfortunately was not impressed by this location. Needs some TLC & thorough cleaning for sure - linens appeared clean but walls were somewhat dirty, window shade didn’t go all the way down, and tub backed up horribly. Overall, service was good but price was high for the condition - didn’t feel like my most safe or hygienic stay with IHG.

  Rooms are dated and show their age undoubtedly however the friendly staff, most notably the breakfast manager/ front desk attendant, was so kind and personable that it makes up for the rooms. Free EV charging and free breakfast with reasonable hours of operation make this a perfect, budget friendly roadtrip stop to grab some “zzz’s” and a shower! Would return and thank you to the staff for the amazing hospitality!

  We had a funeral and we were in town with family and extended family. The staff was very helpful when one family member had an issue with Priceline. I would not suggest going through Priceline. All the staff was kind and breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and in our price range. We would definitely stay again.

  Must stop for EV road trip. Free charging makes this a very affordable stay if you show up with an empty battery. Good breakfast. Polite staff. Switching out the daylight balanced bulbs for warm-white would do wonders to improve the room.
